  Staying in your mountain retreat while visiting family in Murphy for Thanksgiving was just the quiet, peaceful escape we needed. The view is magnificent and the beautifully appointed interior made for a cozy, restful mini-vacation. Best Regards,

  My wife and 2 kids spent 3 days at this charming place and we loved the cabin’s decoration; everything was clean and in perfect working condition. We were thrilled by the scenic views that you can even enjoy from the bed in the master room. We loved the surroundings and the quietness of this place. It is conveniently located only few minutes from the high way but far enough to only hear the sounds of God's creation. Although there are many choices for rafting in this area, we decided to go to Nantahala river which is only 70 min away where we had a whole day of adventures; there are so many activities to do and places to visit in this area that you can make this your base of operations if you want to spend several days in the TN, GA, NC tri-state area . We came during summer but we’d like to come back in fall just to enjoy the colors of the season. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!

  What a beautiful time of year to go and wonderful place to stay. Beautiful trees were blooming, dogwoods, red maple, lilacs, azaleas and many others that I do not know the names. Weather was perfect cool nights and warm days. The Occee River was fun and Brothers Wed night trivia night so much. Enjoyed relaxing and when we wanted to go out and site seeing. The cabin was clean, comfy and nicely decorated as seen in pictures.

  My husband & I recently retired & were exploring areas where we might like to settle. We fell in love with this place immediately and so we decided to rent a cabin for a few months just to get a feel for it. We had a wonderful two months living in the peace & quiet of, "Eagles Rest". If you enjoy wilderness there is enough around to occupy you for a lifetime. The cabin was clean ,well equipped & comfortable & the owners were very accomodating.

  We absolutely love staying at Eagle's Rest in Murphy! It is a short drive from our busy lives in Atlanta, and it is the perfect setting for the rest and relaxation we need. The cabin is cozy and has everything we need during our stay. We can't wait to visit again!

  Hi Gary, We had a terrific time in your lovely cabin! the weather was beautiful and the leaves were in their full glory!! We used the fire place everyday-what a joy! Ken fell in love with the "egg"! We used it twice and the food turned out amazing! We really hated to leave-just fell in love with the area. Looking forward to going back again, but want to try it in the summer. Ingrid

  Eagle's Rest is situated in the heart of a beautiful scenic view! The cabin was lovely and described by the owner accurately. We enjoyed the fireplace everyday (something you don't do in Florida!). The cabin is located in a secluded area-could only see the house behind us. The cabin was very clean and everything was in working order. We hated to leave the cabin to go site seeing, but we took day trips to Helen, GA and Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Wish we could have stayed longer!
