Be on top of the world in the beautiful Smoky Mountains. This wonderful chalet has panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. It has a huge deck where you can relax and listen to the nature's sounds, and watch the birds, deer and wild turkeys. There is also a cozy deck off the upstairs bedroom giving you 360 degrees of Mountain View year round.
This quiet (the only neighborhood we could find with absolutely no highway or truck noise) and large (1.5+ acres), newly furnished chalet offers WiFi internet access with a spacious living and dining area with river rock gas fireplace. Evenings you can relax snuggling up by the cozy fireplace, sit outside and watch the stars, take a relaxing bath in the jetted tub or all...relax and enjoy.
This chalet offers a large open, fully equipped kitchen, great room with a gas log fireplace. The spacious loft has a queen-size bed, private bath with deluxe tub and walk-in closet. The main floor bedroom offers two twin-sized beds and walk-in closet with direct access to a full bathroom. The chalet is fully air-conditioned and heated, with ceiling fans in each room.
Our mountain is great for walking and great views of the surrounding mountains. Enjoy the your walks and views to the mountain top.
Only minutes from white water rafting on the Ocoee river and close to Nantahala river, this area offers plenty of hiking, waterfalls, hunting, golf, shopping, fishing, horseback riding, etc.
For grill lovers...Try our Big Green Egg (BBQ/Smoker) while relaxing and enjoying the perfect combination of privacy and cozy dinner on the deck.

Hi Gary, We had a terrific time in your lovely cabin! the weather was beautiful and the leaves were in their full glory!! We used the fire place everyday-what a joy! Ken fell in love with the "egg"! We used it twice and the food turned out amazing! We really hated to leave-just fell in love with the area. Looking forward to going back again, but want to try it in the summer. Ingrid

Eagle's Rest is situated in the heart of a beautiful scenic view! The cabin was lovely and described by the owner accurately. We enjoyed the fireplace everyday (something you don't do in Florida!). The cabin is located in a secluded area-could only see the house behind us. The cabin was very clean and everything was in working order. We hated to leave the cabin to go site seeing, but we took day trips to Helen, GA and Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Wish we could have stayed longer!

My wife and I spent 3 nights here recently, and we had our two dogs with us. It was a very relaxing location, very quiet, and a wonderful clean cabin. We found everything to be in great working condition, all of the expected amenities, and a great view. The smoker was a real treat (we are planning to purchase our own now!). The dogs loved lounging about and lying on the deck in the warm sun. When we wanted to get out, Murphy was only about 20 minutes away and had everything we needed. It made a great base of operations for 2 days of motorcycle riding that included the famous Cherohala Skyway and the Tail of the Dragon.

Thank you for letting stay at your home. We truly enjoyed your place!!! It was very comfortable and decorated nicely. The place has a great view of the mountains. We enjoyed walking around Soaring Eagle and the people were very friendly. We had such a wonderful time.

Thank you for a wonderful week in your Soaring Eagle Home! The summer is an awesome time to visit the mountains in North Carolina when it is so hot everywhere else! We loved sitting on the deck and seeing all the stars and we were there at full moon so imagine the view!!! We will defintely return!

This is a beautiful place, with all of the comforts of home. The home is perfect: roomy, private, clean, just beautiful. The area is fantastic for fun, or just relaxing.
