VRBO Bear stayed here - 07/06/2010
When I arrived at the gate to this beach community, my friends and I were greeted warmly by security staff. Upon entering the second story home, we were immediately drawn to the sweeping ocean views from the picture windows. The soothing sound of ocean waves lulled me into “vacation mode” immediately, and the spacious great room overlooking the Pacific Ocean made it easy for us to put our feet up and unwind in the lap of luxury.
The private beach directly below was the perfect setting for a relaxing day with friends and young cubs. The fire pit was a particular favorite in the evening for sharing laughs, yummy smores and beary scary stories. At the end of the day, it was nice to unwind in a more luxurious setting while still having the full beach experience from the comfort of the living room and large balcony. The expansive balcony provided the perfect setting for our barbeque dinner. There was also a large dining room table available for us to gather around while we enjoyed our meal and watched the sailboats on the horizon.
Adding to this impressive property was the size of the home: four well-appointed bedrooms and three bathrooms. There was certainly enough personal space to satisfy any bear’s dream vacation. This beach vacation was unforgettable and I look forward to visiting Capistrano Beach, CA again soon!

Why the Owner Chose Capistrano Beach
My Clients bought the home in 2003 looking for a gated oceanfront community. There is nothing like this strip in all of Orange County California, the closest comparable strip of road is Malibu California.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Every morning the ocean looks stunning from the deck of the home. Occasionally, we will see Dolphins playfully jumping out of the water. The beach in front of the home is very sandy and friendly for swimmers and body surfers.

Amazing Place...but be aware of contruction

This place is WONDERFUL! Location is great, the inside is very clean and nicely decorated. The only complaint is that the house next door is under MAJOR construction, so expect to wake up to drills and saws from construction workers at 7am and the noise lasts all day. Also, it is right next to a train, so expect to hear freight trains and passenger trains up until 12am. Other than that, everything was wonderful, the space, the fire pit, being right on the ocean, etc.
Recommended for:Families with young children.

We had the opportunity to stay here recently and we had an amazing experience. The pictures are amazing but even better in person. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. There was plenty of space and a well stocked kitchen. The deck was HUGE and so nice. We loved just sitting out there and listening to the waves. The location is so nice and you are right on the beach - it is perfect! Would recommend to everyone! Tony was great to work with as well and made sure it was a great stay for us.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our family stayed at this wonderful home from 7/3 - 7/10. This home has million dollar views from kitchen, dining area, living room and as you walk down the hall from the bedrooms. Two bedrooms with king size beds are spacious, rooms with twins and queen are normal size, not small. Enjoy the fire pit that belongs to the house and is right in front. Parking spaces are large and will accommodate three large vehicles. Brand new kitchen appliances and stackable washer/dryer. I can't say enough good things about this home and plan to rent it again next summer.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
