Features include a dramatic fireplace in the large combination living and dining room, wraparound deck and patio overlooking the Pescadero Canyon, and up-to-date electronics including wireless internet, HDTV in the living room, 3 additional televisions, DVD player, stereo, and fax. The lower level guest suite features a private entrance, small kitchen, and deck. Furnishings throughout the home are comfortable and modern with lovely oils and watercolors by central coast artists adorning the walls.

From the driveway and carport, you catch your first glimpse of the beautiful Pescadero Canyon. Follow the winding Carmel stone path to the front door of this contemporary home. The entry foyer is spacious with a rustic mission style bench. A few steps further and you are captivated by the spacious, airy living and dining room with floor to ceiling views over the canyon and peaked cathedral ceilings opening up to the sky . The cool evenings are a pleasure in front of the stone and wood fireplace and the stars can be seen from the comfort of the cozy sofa. The home boasts two rattan and glass dining areas with the first holding six people, and the second four person table overlooking the canyon. Hardwood floors.

The galley style kitchen has everything needed for a holiday away from home. Single oven, four burner cooktop with built-in fan, refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, and microwave. Tableware for 12 and all the cookware, utensils, and small appliances you'll need are included.

The carpeted master bedroom is at the end of the hallway and includes an en-suite bath. The room features a wall of windows and a private deck with gorgeous canyon views, as well as a king bed, television, and lovely warm brown mission style furnishings. The closets run the entire width of the room with ample room for all your luggage. The ceramic tiled master bath is spacious with a separate shower and toilet room.

The carpeted second bedroom has a queen size bed with a warm, fluffy duvet, built-in closets, and a wall of floor to ceiling views.

The upstairs also features a bonus room overlooking the canyon that is perfect to use for an office away from home. It is set up with a modular desk, phone, and fax.

The ceramic tiled hall bath has a combination bath and shower with glass door.

The lower level is fully carpeted with its own entrance from the carport and private deck, making it perfect for families or business associates traveling together. A separate bedroom with a queen bed, hardwood furnishings, television, large wall length closet, and canyon views makes this a great hideaway. The living area has comfortable seating, a futon that opens into a double bed, and television. The spacious bath features a shower over tub.
