This fashionably appointed two-story apartment lies in the very center of the hippest shopping district in Buenos Aires-Palermo Soho. The generous 845 square feet of interior space is complemented by 390 square feet of outdoor patio space.
The high-ceilinged living room has been warmly furnished with an L-shaped, sectional Fradusco sofa and two Sophie chairs. The master bedroom is furnished with a linen-encased Fradusco bed flanked by mod side tables and lamps. The pillow-top mattresses in both the master and the downstairs bedrooms are made-up with luxuriant 600 thread-count cotton sheets, Calvin Klein blankets, designer duvet covers and down bedding. The master bed is queen-sized, the downstairs full. Both bedrooms come with ipod alarm clocks. Because the apartment gets lots of natural light, both bedrooms also have heavy curtains to keep out the light after any late nights out.
The apartment has two bathrooms, the master bathroom, upstairs has a glass-enclosed tub with a shower, the downstairs bathroom, a shower. The entertainment center is located in the living room:a 32' Samsung LCD connected to a DVD and an ipod-ready stereo system. The upstairs bedroom has a 26' LCD. Both televisions have cable.
The apartment has wireless high-speed internet access and an internet phone for unlimited calls to the USA/Canada * is available. A local cellular phone is provided for use around the city.
Walk out of the master bedroom onto a patio with custom made wooden table and chairs, a fully-equipped Argentine barbeque (parilla) and an outdoor shower, for sun-worshippers.
The apartment is entered through a private patio with cast-iron table and chairs, perfect for breakfast on the many fine mornings provided by the mild Argentine climate.
When you step out the front door, the hippest six square blocks of Buenos Aires are directly behind you. The monetary crisis of 2001 made imports unaffordable for locals. This sudden need to provide for themselves created a renaissance in local design and fashion. The standouts of this artistic awakening are within walking distance. Among the extraordinary designer boutiques, there are restaurants, cafes, bookstores and art workshops and galleries.
The block to the right of the apartment is a park, recently re-landscaped, where a farmers market is held on Saturday mornings.
Despite its proximity to dynamic Palermo Soho, this block of Nicaragua is very quiet. In addition, the apartment is set back from the street by one house, so it’s ideal for anyone seeking an oasis of calm in the hustle and bustle that is Buenos Aires.

To be perfectly clear: this is a big, very original place to live. The high ceiling, the 2 showers, the impressive dining table, the nice sleeping room upstairs give a very special cachet. What amazed me is that, despite be almost next door to the entertainment buzz, you will have most nights without any noise. There was just a bit of a live band on Friday and Saturday, but they stopped playing at the reasonable time of 1 am. Aside that, you feel like in the countryside. You can leave the entrance door open on your private patio to enjoy fresh air while keeping your privacy. So for that value, if you spend a few days or more, go into confidence. Now remember that you are in Argentina, and this country is going down. We had a few technical issues, which Management confirmed they would address - make sure that the blackout curtains are installed. Also, internet is not reliable, but my Argentinean colleagues confirm that this is widespread.... so we cannot blame the apartment. Try to bring your USB (I advise the good Apartments-Ba to rent their own). Also bring mosquito spray. Apartments-BA has been very honest with payments and refunds. I also compliment the great help-book they provide. Buenos Aires is not like Europe or the States, so you must be ready to adapt yourself. Do not be scared by the entrance door. This place features loads of charm, up to you to enjoy it.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

I have been to Buenos Aires four times and this property is definitely located in my favorite neighborhood. It is 1 block from the hippest area of BA, set back on a quiet street, close to great restaurants and fabulous shopping. The two story townhouse is fashionably decorated with high quality linens and furnishings. The living area is quite comfortable, spacious and bright. We also enjoyed the roof deck and privacy. The kitchen was well equipped. I highly recommend a stay here in this safe neighborhood and plan to return myself.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

Stayed in this wonderful 2-bedroom apartment in Palermo with my husband and mother-in-law. It was a perfect location, central to everything in BsAs. The apartment itself was well appointment, beautifully furnished and had every amenity one could ask for. The upstairs loft bedroom featured an outdoor terrace, pefect for an afternoon rest of evening drink. You couldn't ask for anything more in a vacation rental in BsAs.Did you find this review helpful? About the owner: We are a professional couple living in Los Angeles. Caroline is a producer and Adrian is a writer. Adrian visited Buenos Aires while she was working on a job there and we both fell in love with the city, so much so that we decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and buy a vacation property there.
Why the Owner Chose Palermo Soho:
Of all the parts of the city, we really fell in love with Palermo Soho. The sweet little shops and restaurants are endlessly amusing. It's a very safe neighborhood to walk around in. It seems like the most alive part of the city to us, the place where the resurgence of local designers and manufacturers is really flourishing after the economic depression that began in 2001.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
We spent three weeks in Buenos Aires personally furnishing and decorating the apartment, every piece is something that we personally picked out to make the place a homey, comfortable retreat.
