Located on the 13th floor, this Condo has the perfect full view of the turquoise warm waters of the Caribbean. The gated Playa Azul complex offers 24 hours security. The Condo is located in Playa Azul 1, which is the building directly facing the beach.
The Condo features a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking utensils, dishes and a dishwasher for your convenience. The bedroom has a queen-size bed with all linens provided, 15' flat screen color TV, plenty of storage, and air conditioning. The living room has a new HD 27'color TV and beautiful rattan furniture. Living room and dining room have newly installed ceiling fans. Internet access available at an additional charge.
Inside the complex you will have access to tennis and basketball courts, two pools (including a baby pool), play equipment for kids, a clubhouse and private access to the beach. Luquillo State beach is located a short walking distance west from the gated Playa Azul complex. A grocery store, drug store, gas station and several restaurants are within walking distance as well.
The condominium’s location is ideal for exploring the Eastern part of the island. The famous rain forest (El Yunque) is just a few minutes West on Route 3. Fajardo (with ferries to close by islands of Vieques and Culebra)is 15 minutes east. Sightseeing in Old San Juan and shopping at local outlets are just 20 to 30 minutes drive. Several championships golf courses are located at nearby resorts within 10 miles. Luis Muñoz Marin International airport is 30 minutes drive through Route 66. Stay in Playa Azul for a fraction of the cost of a hotel and relax while enjoying beautiful sunsets from a private balcony with a panoramic view of Puerto Rico’s most beautiful beach!

This dandy apartment really met all our needs for a low-key vacation. We tend to "cook in", rather than go to restaurants for meals; the kitchen was well stocked with dishes, table settings, utensils and cookware. We ate virtually all of our meals listening to and gazing at the water. Fabulous. The apartment was sparkling and well-maintained, and the listing photos were pretty accurate. We have recommended the apartment to friends. If we did not require, next year, a larger apartment for visiting family, we would certainly return. The Luquilo/Fajardo area is inviting because it provides decent stores for food shopping, but isn't terribly touristy. People in PR actually have jobs that are not tourism-related! There are boat rides, and trips one can take; the rainforest is a must-see and must-experience, and is very close. Wonderful place for those of us who want to experience the sea, read, watch a little TV sometimes, and just chill.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway.

The wife and I rented this condo for our 10th anniversary. First let me say that Nancy was awesome. She made this such an easy transaction. From the first email, to the last call, she was helpful, and made everything simple and hassle free. The condo was perfect, perfect location, the perfect view. All i can say is that I cannot wait to go back again. Thank you Nancy for letting us rent your beautiful condo. Couldn't have asked for anything better. Our stay in the condo was perfect. It was just what we needed: comfortable, close to the beach, beautifiul view, and affordable. It did get very windy at times, but I think it helped stay cool in the humidity. It is a basic condo, with the comforts of home. There's a grocery store, eateries and everything else you could need near by.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I stayed in this beautiful oceanfront unit from 5/24/10 thru 6/7/10. What you see in the description is what you get. The unit is located in a very nice gated community where you can find restaurants, pharmacy, supermarket and lots more at walking distance. The security staff and ground staff are very pleasant. The appartment is very nicely decorated, kept very clean and have all the amenities necessary to spend a wonderful vacation. The owner, Mrs. Nancy Medina is a very friendly lady who was very helpful in recommending places where we could go for dinner and shopping at reasonable prices. She was also very prompt in returning our phone calls and refunding our security deposit. I would definitely recommend this rental and we are looking forward to doing business with Mrs. Medina again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
