The Guide Guys Lodge is a unique experience. Owned by fishing pro and California Certified Guide, Patrick Upthagrove, guests can plan a guided hunting, fishing or bow hunting adventure, or just stay in this neat house for your family getaway or Yosemite holiday.
Located just a few minutes from downtown Groveland, the Guide Guys Lodge is a private countryside residence with three guest rooms upstairs, a living room, dining room, kitchen and nearly wrap-around porch. The lower lodge level is an 800 square foot studio with a queen bed, two double futons, patio and a kitchenette.
The home can be rented as one unit sleeping up to 14 people or guests can rent just the lower lodge, or all of the upper lodge or each of the upper lodge rooms individually.
While there are no minimum stay requirements, rates are greatly reduced for each additional night you do stay. Breakfast is always included at the Cafe Charlotte in downtown Groveland. Extra person fees are $20 per person, per night.

Patrick Upthagrove, with his hunting & fishing passion opens his home to guests seeking a retreat from the normal. Originally from Wisconsin, Pat still spends most of the year there but cherishes his time at the lodge interacting with guests and sharing favorite fishing holes.
Why the Owner Chose Groveland
The home is beautiful and private, the town of Groveland is open and warm and Yosemite and the surrounding Sierra Nevada have no match—just stunning.
