We headed out to Tahoe for a last minute trip and had an amazing time. Early November is a perfect time of year to enjoy hiking and sightseeing. The weather was cool and sunny, just right for spending time outdoors. There was just enough snow to make everything pretty but not enough that the roads and trails were difficult. It was great to come home after a day of hiking to a relaxing hot tub with an incredible view. The owners were extremely helpful and accommodating in helping us book the place at the last minute. We would definitely book this place on a return trip!

This place was incredible! I proposed to my girlfriend here over the weekend and everything was so perfect. This home is very romantic and cozy with breathtaking views. Joe and Becky are super nice too!

My girlfriend and I had a great long weekend up at this condo. It has everything you need and if you need something, you can always take a quick walk down to the local market or the fox and hound. Can't wait to get back!!

Fantastic Condo

My husband and I spent five wonderful days at this condo starting on July 31, 2011. It was everything we hoped for and more! The photos don't do it justice. It's on three levels, with the bedrooms on different levels for nice separation. The view of the valley was phenomenal - there are a total of three decks. The hot tub is off the deck from the living room and the temperature was perfect. I first used the steam shower the day before left, but wished I had "discovered" it sooner. The unit is beautifully deocrated with first-rate appliances and decorations - all at a such a reasonable price. My husband especially loved having the use of the laptop comuter. And I can't say enough about how gracious Becky was in helping to ensure that everything was perfect for our visit. We spoke on the phone before we arrived and she even mentioned the one review that said there were no spa towels - they were there, the guest just didn't find them. So I had to smile to myself when we first arrived to see a note on the counter telling me the spa towels were in the dryer. That just shows how much she wants everyone to enjoy their visit. I have already recommended this condo to friends and my husband and I plan to stay there again next summer - even though we live in New York! That's how good it is! As to activities, we thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the gondola (right next to Harrah's) and we rented a motorboat at the marina behind Harrah's to explore Emerald Bay, which is beautiful. My (adult) nieces and nephews were staying nearby and loved the jet skis. My favorite restaurant experience was at the Tahoe Swiss Chalet - wonderful food.

Perfect Summer Trip

Our family of four really enjoyed this condo in June. It was a great relaxing place for us to enjoy after playing on the mountain and at the lake. Our two young children thought the place was so fun, with all the rooms and decorations. The hot tub was a huge bonus for our aching feet. We wouldn't have believed the view this place offered if we hadn't seen it for ourselves. The owners have kept this place very clean and tidy, it was better than we expected. Thanks for a wonderful vacation.

Very Nice Getaway

We enjoyed our midweek visit at Heavenly. Loved the jacuzzi and steam room. It had a very beautiful view. Neither of us like heights, so it was a little scary coming down the steps the first few times, but we got used to it. We had one day of 70 degree weather and then snow. It was fun. The accommodations were clean and nice. We had everything we needed for cooking and entertaining. Beautiful view and was fun watching the people drive up the highway! It was a quick drive into Lake Tahoe.

Nice, but not overly impressive...

Beautiful views of Carson City, clean, great location... There are a lot of stairs, but we left our skis in the car and just brought boots inside (hauling luggage was a chore though). Only had two major complaints: 1) There were not enough linens (only 6 bath towels, 3 hand towels and 3 wash cloths were provided... Oh, and 1 kitchen towel. NO beach towels for hot tub!! No extra blankets for beds!!) Luckily there was a washer/dryer to clean the few towels we were given. 2) Also, the satellite on main TV was out for our entire visit. We were only able to watch DVDs we happened to have with us (Thank goodness!). Overall, the condo served its purpose. We skid both Heavenly (via Stagecoach lift) and Kirkwood... enjoying record snowfall. Don't know if the jacuzzi was any good because we didn't want to use our "bath" towels to go in it!

Owner response:We were saddened to hear of this renters issues. We work very hard to maintain a clean, warm, and comfortable home. We found out that a large storm had moved the satellite dish slightly out of direction, which has never happened before. The renter did call but said he would call back if he couldn't bring the dish on line, and we never heard back so assumed he made the adjustment. Regarding the linens, we have checked with the maintenance company and they were not aware of shortage but we have put them on notice, there were spa towels in the upstairs closet which we will note on our future guest guidelines.

Fantastic location. Very well equipped clean condo. Great location away from all the noise and traffic with great views of the valley below. It is a perfect place to retreat to after day hikes around the lake. Watch the sun rise and then watch the moon rise at night. We visited in Sept. but must be a great spot in the winter for skiing.

I would like to keep this place as my special secret because I thought it was that nice. Great location with an incredible valley view. Very comfortable with everything you need for a great stay. Overall, I give it a 9.2 on my 1-10 scale.

Heavenly

Our group of 2 couples stayed 4 nights, principally to ski Heavenly. We were hit by a storm the afternoon we arrived so enjoyed powder conditions on the slopes, but next to zero visibility. When it cleared however there is a fantastic view eastwards from the balcony across the valley - as seen from the photos. The place is clean, well equipped and maintained and the owner was very helpful and accommodating. The local pub is, well, local and it does serve beer. The views are to die for, especially overlooking Lake Tahoe from the top of heavenly ski resort. To be recommended

Beautiful Views

We took our 9 month old baby and mother-in-law up to this condo and had a wonderful time. It was warm and welcoming inside. The kitchen had updated appliances which we used, and the television and family room area was comfy after a long day of sight seeing. The best part of this property was the 3 decks and the views from both the lower bedroom and the living room. In the morning you got a beautiful sunrise, and at night you can see the city lights of the town in the valley. Only about a short drive from the strip, but a nice quiet getaway.

An ideal location for skiers, being only 5 minutes from the Stagecoach Lodge at Heavenly. With a beautiful view over the Carson Valley, a relaxing, comfortable and well equipped home, this property was like a home from home. We had a marvellous time and thoroughly recommend this lovely home to prospective renters.

We stayed in this condo in early February of 2009. Overall it was a great place and I would recommend it to other couples who are looking for a well- furnished and well-located condo near Heavenly. The condo itself was in great shape and had all the amenities you could want - small but new hot tub with amazing views, stocked kitchen with new appliances, bathrooms and bedrooms with all the linens, etc. There is a small "locals" type of restaurant/pub nearby and a small convenience store. Otherwise getting to the Stateline area (Raley's, other stores) is only about 10 minutes down the hill. Only real downsides were that there are a fair amount of stairs getting to and inside the unit. But we knew this ahead of time and it wasn't a big deal. Enjoy!

The condo was great and exceeded all our expectations. We didn't want to leave. The guys wanted to stay in and watch tv, 'Why leave the view is perfect from the couch.' The steam shower plus jacuzzi are the perfect way to relax after a busy day. When we return to Tahoe we plan to stay here again if it's available.
