Nestled on three acres of wooded land, this Edgartown gem is only two hundred feet from the bike path on the Vineyard Haven road, a mile from the center of town and 1/2 a mile from State Beach. A quick walk or bike ride and you are shopping in beautiful boutiques, browsing the art galleries, or watching the famous fudge making at Murdick's fudge. Lie on the sand on the family-friendly State Beach or go windsurfing in the adjacent bay. After the fun, you can return to our lovely getaway and never see or hear the other tourists as you relax or barbecue on the deck surrounded by a garden.
The house is equipped with a modern kitchen, a living room and dining room (each at right angles to the deck with sliding glass doors)and a large family room which doubles as an extra bedroom, with a queen size futon couch. In addition, there are four sunlit, airy bedrooms (one downstairs, 3 upstairs), which include six twin beds, and two queen size beds. There are two full bathrooms and a laundry room with washer and dryer. The house is bright and comfortable, with lots of sunshine provided by two skylights.
Perfect for families, couples or friends traveling together. All of our guests have found this to be a very special island home. |
