This elegant and romantic condo with easy access to the ski mountain and historic downtown Steamboat has a gorgeous gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, slate walls and hardwood floors. The fully appointed kitchen includes a Bosch dishwasher as well as other top end appliances, and has all of the cooking "gear" you will need to make wonderful meals.
After a day spent fishing, skiing, hiking or shopping, relax in your private hot tub on the deck, or watch your 46 inch HDTV while the fireplace keeps you warm. Leather furniture, authentic Navajo rugs and original artwork will make you feel surrounded in luxury.
The bedroom is private with another HDTV and the spacious bathroom is elegantly tiled and has two sinks and a beautiful shower. The washer and dryer complement the warming rack for your wet gloves, socks, or spa towels! If you have guests, a full 5 inch mattress is included with the leather sleeper sofa and a 3" foam mattress fits on the top for extra comfort. The kids can also sleep on the inflatable mattress.
For the best in recreation, you can rent inner tubes to float down the Yampa River, or grab a bike for a ride downtown. Fishing, hiking, mountain biking and more are all within a short drive of the condo. Every weekend is filled with activities for the whole family - rodeos, art festivals, hot air balloon gatherings, farmer's markets, bike rides and races, runs, youth soccer, World Series youth baseball....the list goes on and on. Great shopping, amazing restaurants - Steamboat really does offer it all!
An extra spot is available for your second car, and snow removal happens on a regular basis during the ski season. If you like to ski, hop the free shuttle outside the front door for some champagne powder.

Originally from Seattle, I moved to Colorado a few years ago for work (I handle development issues for local municipalities). My husband is a native of Colorado and we live in Fort Collins full time until we can "retire" to Steamboat. Shelby is a teenager and loves to ski and hike with us, as well as tube the Yampa in the summer with her friends.
Why the Owner Chose Deer Creek
Steamboat has it all: amazing powder skiing, world class fishing, beautiful hiking, shopping, great food, and it's a real town (not a town created for tourists). It's removed from the traffic and hustle of a large city, so it has the cowboy charm of an old West town - but it also has access to everything you might need. It's cool in the summer and snows a LOT in the winter - the lightest powder skiing imaginable.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
The private hot tub is the best! The free bus stops outside the door, you can walk to several restaurants, see the hot air balloons from the back deck, and take a walk or run on the Yampa River trail right across the road. We often walk up to the ski area for a great dinner or to meet friends.

Very comfortable, nicer in person than the pictures allow. Great bathroom. Split level so it feels larger than a typical one bedroom. Further than you'd want to walk to the slopes... bus comes every 20 and its a short ride there, longer on the way home
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Stayed two nights in November 2010. Property was as described; came well stocked with all the amenities. An excellent location; free bus to the slopes picks up right across the street. Everything top notch! Highly recommended!

We had a great weekend getaway to Steamboat this summer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay- this condo is even better in person than it looks on the sight. Everything was in great condition and very clean. The furnishings and kitchen wares were nice quality- not lower end things you might expect in a rental condo. There were 3 different decks and having the small hot tub was a great touch. Our daughter sleep in the sofa bed, but this might not be ideal for families since the sofa is in the main living area. We ended up letting her fall asleep in the bedroom and carrying her to the sofa when we were ready to sleep! It is conveniently located off of the main road, making for quick trips into town. Highly recommended, thanks so much, Sheryl!
