Our beautiful ground floor condo in the popular Kihei Akahi is privately owned and we are proud to call it our second home. The remodeled kitchen includes beautiful granite counters, maple cabinetry, tile floors, and new appliances. We have provided every amenity that our guests could need to make this kitchen fully functional.
This quiet condominium opens up to an expansive garden area that includes beautifully manicured plumeria trees, hibiscus and palms – the perfect extension of the living room. The security lanai door enables easy access directly across the lawn to south Kihei’s gorgeous beaches, to the two pools, pool-side BBQs, and tennis court. Air conditioning, ceiling fans, and afternoon tradewinds keep the condo cool all year long.
Hawaiian furnishings and décor featuring local artists accent this condo and make your time spent inside continue to feel tropical. An in-unit washer/dryer, one reserved parking space, a security safe, Ipod docking stereo, and beach gear (chairs, towels, umbrella, boogie boards, water straws, coolers) are included. If you wish to stay connected to the outside world, you may take advantage of free telephone calls to anywhere in the U.S. and Canada, a new LCD flat screen TV with cable, and free high-speed WiFi internet. Recycling bins are located next to the tennis court.
Location – Kihei Akahi is located directly across the street from Kamaole Beach II, one of the best swimming beaches with its white sands, calm waters and perfect location for viewing Hawaiian sunsets. Nearby rocky points make for excellent snorkeling. Many fantastic restaurants, shops, and grocery stores are within close walking distance from the condo, and several open-air restaurants are directly adjacent to the property.

We decided to purchase our second home at Kihei Akahi to have access to the best beaches on our favorite island. We like how well the complex landscapes its grounds and knew that we could continue to be impressed by the maintenance. Kihei Akahi had everything we were looking for – convenience for everything from stores to restaurants and close proximity to beautiful and swimmable beaches. We thought that our guests would appreciate this as well!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Our unit is upgraded, nicely decorated and maintained, quiet, and comfortable. The ground floor makes access to the pools and beach so easy - no elevators or stairs to deal with - plus we love the expansive lawn area and colorful plants.

Maui is our favorite island since in our opinion, it has the best beaches. So we were thrilled when the opportunity to purchase this condo became available. My adult son and I stayed at this condo for 10 days in Dec 2011. A great place for a mother/son vacation. We have stayed at the Kihei Akahi several times so we already know that it is the best location in south Kihei and we definately were able to take advantage of the closeness of so many amenities (restaurants, coffee bars, nail bar but mostly THE BEACH! We loved the fact that we could use the locking lanai access to go to the BBQ or pool or out for a walk. The condo was well equipped and clean. A request for a repair to the carpet/tile transition was handled promptly. We would not recommend the sofa as a sofa bed, even for one person but we know they rarely are great. While an upper floor unit can be great for the ocean view, a ground floor unit has advantages too and the view of the garden was very nice and soothing. Since we have travelled to Maui several times in recent years we did not 'tourist' too much but I recommend the Nail Bar for a pedicure. Five Palms restaurant for breakfast, Moose's bar for watching Canucks hockey and Italian restaurant next to Foodland for a huge serving of lasagna (enuf for leftovers) Carol and Jay
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+.
