This spacious one-bedroom condo is located on the ground floor in Golf Colony Resort which is 7 miles South of the Grand Strand of Myrtle Beach and 7 miles North of the historic village of Murrells Inlet, known as "the seafood capital of the world!" It was updated with new furnishings, paint & carpeting in Sept 2007 and repainted in 2009. The unit comfortably accommodates 4 adults featuring a queen-size bed with new box spring & mattress and a new sleep sofa with queen size mattress.
Off the living area is a screened in porch with patio seating, providing easy access to the pool, hot tub and BBQ grill area which is shared with the Colony.
The kitchen is exceptionally equipped, including all appliances, dishes, pots & pans, utensils and dishwasher. The dining table seats 4 and the island bar seats an additional 2 people. The living area includes a new full-size pull out sleep sofa, large papasan chair - a nice place to sit, relax and read your favorite novel - a TV and DVD. You also have access to a washer and dryer within the unit.
Surfside Beach is a great family beach community offering endless activities including hiking, biking, golf, amusement parks, cinemas, museums, snorkeling, diving, boating, sailing, surfing, water-skiing, snorkling, waterparks, miniature golf, live entertainment (Carolina Opry, Alabama Theatre, Legends in Concert, Dixie Stampede) & more. Tennis courts are located just behind building 3, a short distance from your back porch. Surfside Beach is a great family beach and is just a little over a mile away. There is ample public parking day & night. Surfside is one of the quietest beaches in the area, yet minutes from everything Myrtle Beach has to offer.
If you enjoy shopping, you've hit the jack pot! Close by are Tanger Outlets, Coastal Grand Mall, Broadway at the Beach, showcasing fireworks every Tuesday evening, Barefoot Landing which features the Alabama Theatre and Hammock Shops. If you enjoy golfing there are well 120 courses available in the Myrtle Beach resort area, five within miles of the Condo and plenty of mini golf for the entire family!
