  What a wonderful location. Right on the beach and pool. Had a great time on the day sail to St John and the kids went diving several times. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We plan to go back again next year.

  Just got back from St. Thomas late last night and wanted to touch base with you and thank you for sharing your beautiful condo with us. Your place is absolutely amazing...the location and views were perfect! All was well after the topical storm,which brought winds and some rain and a bit of beach erosion...So thank you again for sharing your spectacular condo...It was SUCH a relaxing, much needed and perfect week. My brain and body are having a bit of trouble getting off island time!! ....Please extend my appreciation to your Mom...her place is a gem!!! I so want to go back!!! With great thanks,

  This was our 3rd trip back to Watergate Villas and it was another perfect vacation! We are a family of four and everything about this paradise is wonderful. The 2 bedroom condo is directly on the ocean and the best part of all is hearing the crashing waves every minute of the day and night! The complex sits between two of the best restaurants on the island; Mims Seafood for dinner and Iggies Bar/Grill. Both are as close to the water as you could ever want, which is what we always hope for on vacation! Having the luxury to dine out a few times and then comfortably cook in and sit out on the balcony overhanging the ocean, well, it just doesn't get any better! There is a brand new tile/decking around the pool which is quite beautiful and adds to what is already a most gorgeous setting. The Bolongo Dive shop is also on the premises and they offer many great activities and the people working there are awesome. Very professional and ready with a smile to help with whatever special activity you might enjoy. Don't miss snorkeling with the turtles out by Buck Island! We don't dive, but I understand that program is great as well and they offer free training in the pool. It looked like a ton of fun! Also, Bolongo Bay is located in a great location to enjoy every beach on the Island. Our favorite has become the local Smith Bay, Linquist Beach, just past the town of Red Hook. It's only a 10 min. drive and it's amazing. Of course you don't want to miss Magens Bay or Saphire Beach. Red Hook is a great little town and the ferry leaves from there to St. John, another fun day trip. The owners of the condo clearly love it as well because they have thought of every convenience. There are plenty of towels, water gear, kitchen utensils (the best is the view!) AC, Cable, library of books, really, anything you could ever need. We can't say enough about our experience and plan to go back as often as we can! Enjoy!

  Our family (including 2 teenage girls) stayed at this condo on Bolongo Bay in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands for 10 days this past June and had a wonderful experience. Having never used a Owner based service for booking accommodations before we were a bit nervous but the prompt responses, the ease of communication and helpfulness between the owners and us put any concerns we may have had immediately to rest. Cindy was fantastic from our first contact which gave us a great feeling about how our stay would turn out and WOW! It was fantastic! From the moment we entered the condo the view from the front door knocked our socks off! The unit exudes the warmth and friendliness of its owners! It's a clean, tastefully, comfortably furnished 2 bedroom, 2 bath beach unit with views, views, views! The amenities provided by the owners and previous visitors are perfect, we found sunscreen and bug spray, shampoo, lotions, blow dryers (our girls were THRILLED!) our first night in the condo I realized at bedtime that I had forgotten to bring Contact solution for storing our lenses and viola! there was an unopened bottle in the girl's bathroom cabinet - an 'eye saver' for sure! The kitchen is stocked with the basics that made preparing the few meals we made at “home” a breeze. The hall closet is crammed with ALL the beach toys (including snorkel equipment, beach chairs, "noodles" for the pool and sunhats) that you could possibly want. The “lending library” in the living room is packed with great beach reads. There are books about the islands, maps and “things to do” pamphlets – puzzles for idle time (if you have any!) Did I mention the VIEW? WOW! You are perched a stone's throw from the water’s edge and from the kitchen, the dining room, the balcony (VERY comfortable seating for gazing!) AND the master bedroom you can see and HEAR the breeze and the sounds of the surf crashing right below – (our last night we actually recorded that sound in hopes it will carry us through the cold winter months to come!) The added convenience of restaurants right on the beach (Iggies a casual fun family atmosphere and Mims a more upscale ($$) romantic environment) really adds to this special location. We can’t say enough about this condo and owner Cindy – this was a dream family vacation spot and we intend to return often. Thank you again Cindy, we had a wonderful time!

  This was a great time! After doing a bit of sight-seeing around the island, we were thrilled we had chosen this area in which to stay! It was wonderful being able to lol about on the beach and just walk over to Iggie's and have a drink, or a meal, right there ocean-front! The condo had everything we needed and it was so peaceful to go to sleep lulled by the waves crashing, right outside our door! The pool is ocean side and perfectly located. The iguana's and kitties about the property were a bonus for us - we loved seeing them! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

  We attended a wedding at Bolongo Bay in February, doing some research we found Watergate villas, the Condo was as advertised even down to the complimentary sun screen. The owners were very easy to work with, their condo was our condo for a week and my 2 year old did not want to leave he thought this was his home. Sitting on the balcony falling asleep listening to the waves (just feet away) and waking up to a sunrise is a once is a lifetime experience. Everybody in the complex was friendly; we met many people at the pool or just walking around. We also got a great contact for a jeweler down town from one of the residences in the building and bought some watches. Iggies is a must, staff is great, although it is the islands so nobody is breaking any speed record taking orders, except for drinks those are fast and plentiful. Snorkeling right outside our Condo produced many colorful fish and yes TURTLES, we saw 4 during one snorkel. If you are planning a visit to St Thomas and want a great location on the beach, falling asleep to the ocean surf every night then I recommend this location, you will not be disappointed. One last comment, just as everybody says, apply BUG SPRAY, this is no joke, even the restaurants has plenty of spray but make sure you put it on and keep applying.

  We had a wonderful vacation. The view from our condo was magnificent, just like the pictures, but better. We had easy access to the pool and beach. The condo had everything you could want and so many extras(shampoo, conditioner, soap,sunscreen, bug spray, you name it). The resort was clean and safe. Two nice places to eat in walking distance. We rented a car and took the ferry to St. John well worth the trip...beautiful. We snorkeled right at our beach. The owners were wonderful and very helpful and accessible every step of the way. I would highly recommend this condo.

  WOW! We have been coming to St. Thomas for 3 years....5 visits for 50+ days. We have stayed in six different places. This was hands down the best. Three great restaurants, two pools, dive operation (5 Star), excursions, activities, and close to Red Hook and Charlotte Amalie. You can be to St. John in 20 minutes (Ferry) and BVI in 45 minutes (Ferry). Just great!!! The condo: Incredible view, comfortable, and well appointed. The kitchen has plenty of pans, pots, dishes, and cooking instruments (and I like to cook). Appliances you would have at home and all in great condition (this is a rarity on the island where appliances are very expensive). The furniture is comfortable, wireless internet, phone, DVD, TV, and lots of games (as well as pool toys). We took our toddler daughter and we all relaxed, slept well, and had a fun vacation!!! The owners are super easy to work with and communicate quickly. We had a few small issues (expected with a 10-12 day vacation) and they resolved them immediately (even though they were 1000's of miles away). Just incredible!!!! They are also well known and respected at the Dive Shop, gift shop at Bolongo, and several long time employees of the restaurants. We loved this condo, this location, and the owners. We plan on making their condo our primary vacation spot in the future! Hope you will give them a try.....you will be pleasantly surprised! MAIN GOAL WHILE ON ISLAND: RELAX!!!!!

  Starting with a vague search for some time (Feb 5 to15/2011) on St. Thomas to the end of our 10 day stay was nothing short of outstanding.The inital contact with the owners was easy and informal, no shortcuts in helping out. Once we got to the Island it did not take long to settle in. The location of the condo was ideal. Easy to drive anywhere in 10 minutes. The unit being on the water is a gem. A two year old could thow a rock into the Ocean from the deck. New developments do not have this elusive feature for a majority of travellers. One very important necessity for us is safety and comfort with the residents when visiting. We found the people of St Thomas to be very friendly, cheerful and patient. It was a challlenge to relax and ease up to their pace. There was always evidence of a police presence and never any concern about safety issues and we travelled about plenty. Magens Beach, deep sea fishing, all corners of the Island and more. Prices were fine, as expected for vacation destinations and also many good restaurants. We would certainly recommend St Thomas and this condo to anyone lucky enough to acquire a "get off the world" time card. The location, the people, the onwers and the accommodations all make this a very favourable destination!

  This condo was wonderful. Our first time here in St Thomas-with our 4 year old son. We had such a great time. Mim's was everything it was supposed to be & more. Our favorite part of the trip was nokeling off the Heavenly Days! Our son loved the beach and was getting quite adventerous by the end of our stay. You got it all right when they say LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! Thank you for sharing your island home with us!...burr 52" of snow this year !
