"This is unit 1153 and is directly on the beach. It has three steps off the deck down to the sand. There is a very short walk across the dune to the water. Enjoy the fact that you can save trips to the store for ice since this unit has a free standing ice maker."
You can enjoy five swimming pools (two heated), a free 9 hole par 3 golf course, three putting greens, three hot tubs, six lighted tennis courts, horseshoes and shuffleboard. There is a beach pavilion bar on-site where you can rent umbrellas, chairs, jet skis, ocean kayaks and go para sailing. You are welcome to bring your own boats, jet skis, bikes, scooters, skates and skateboards.
We are located just minutes away from restaurants, shopping malls, water parks, amusement parks, water skiing, movie theaters, miniature golf, wildlife parks, shelling, para sailing and sailing. You can visit Destin Harbor where they have boat and jet ski rentals, dolphin and sunset cruises, deep sea fishing trips, scuba and snorkeling trips, bungee jumping and bumper cars. We are located only five miles from the Silver Sands Designer Discount Outlet.

We were looking for a nice comfortable place to stay with easy access to the beach and this was perfect! We would definitely stay here again and look forward to returning next year.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We enjoyed our stay at this condo. The condo was clean and comfortable. The air conditioner worked great. The decor was done in a beach theme which brought a little of the outside to the inside. When you step out onto the back deck you can hear the surf. This is great place to sit and read or drink your morning coffee. With just a few steps you are on the beautiful white sandy beach. My husband and sons enjoyed the free 9 hole par 3 golf course. This condo is located within minutes of great restaurants, movie theaters, miniature golf. Anything you would want to do you are only minutes away. Target and Walmart are close also. I would definitely recommend this condo and would go back again.

I enjoyed my stay here in this unit very much. The unit is on the beach with a wonderful view. What I liked most about this unit is the relaxing atmosphere felt like home. The unit is well furnished, clean and comfortable. The pictures do not mislead you in any way. Sandpiper Cove also has great things to offer like golf, swimming, tennis and hot tubs when you aren't wanting to be on the beach. The location is downtown and close to any restaurant you may want to visit. The unit was well equipped with a full size washer and dryer--an anyone that travels to the beach knows that is definitely a plus. I hope we get the opportunity to stay here again. I would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Destin.

This condo is awesome! We stay here every year for our family vacation. We are always happy with the way the owners have kept the property and the new ammentities that they add each year. We have stayed in this condo for the past three years and have been staying at Sandpiper Cove for the past 6 years. This is our favorite condo, by far! It is just a few steps from the beach and veiw is awesome! Unless we need something larger or this condo is not avaliable when we need it, we will continue to stay here! It has become our home away from home for 7 days out of each year!!!

While we loved the location & the unit was clean, however it is very DATED and some things need some serious TLC... We were not pleased with the unit for the following reasons: The hose near parking did not work Horrible rust on dryer & some air vents Remote for living room would not work, we even replaced the batteries. No remote for 2nd bedroom Remotes in master only worked if you taped the batteries in. Blinds in master appear to be broke so we are afraid to open & enjoy the view. Some of the patio furniture is just totally damaged, so we could not use. Dirty walls that cannot be cleaned do to flat paint. Uncomfortable to take a bath due to 2nd bath repair of a hole Will be glad to send pics if needed.
Owner response:In response to the renter's review, I do not feel that any unit would of been up to standard for this renter. They were not easy to deal with and had complaints about every aspect of the unit. We have rented this unit for several years and have a very reputable reputation with this unit being very nice. In 2010 this unit received new furniture, paint, carpet and new furnishings.
