Amazingly roomy residential property designed to take advantage of the time of day as well as the quiet neighborhood. Large shower, good washer/dryer, rooms covered up with ceiling fans and A/C. Easy walk to Front Street, Pier, and grocery store (Foodland). Golf, snorkeling, restaurants all fantastic!

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, age 55+.

My husband, toddler and two friends stayed here in September and we loved it. The location just steps from downtown Lahaina was perfect and the house fit 4 adults and one toddler perfectly. The furnishings were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the outside area was a great play area for my kid. We bought a little plastic kiddie pool for him and he had a blast swimming in the backyard. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Perfect Vacation Rental

My family of four recently stayed at the Ambler House. For the first time in our many trips tp Maui we really enjoyed the island like locals. The house was clean, spacious enough for all of us to really spread out (due in large part to the massive amount of outdoor living space), and perfectly located. In the moring I would go have an amazing run, walk to the Foodmart which was a block away and next to a Starbucks, then hot tub before starting our day. We ate most of our breakfest's at home with the exception of a first morning trip to Gazebo's for their famous Macadamia Nut Pancakes. This saved us quite a bit of money vs staying in a resort. We grilled dinner two nights, Mama's Fish House for a special night out...pricey but well worth it! No better food and location then that on the island. Most of the time we just walked out the door walked a block to the left and found ourselves on Front Street with many restruants to choose from. I would recommend Famous Dave's Feast for the value and taste one night, Cheeseburgers in Paradise was fun because well you are having a cheeseburger in paradise, and Bumma Gump was just OK...won't go back. Don't miss Warren and Annabelle's show...what a fun time! The guy is good! Ok back to the house. Melody has everything there you will need from beach chairs, a small cooler for the beach towels, etc. The kitchen has all the hardware needed to produce great meals. We enjoyed the main bathroom with the shower being seperate from the house, made greating ready for four people easy...especially being able to get the sand off and not get it in the house. Her DVD selection was great....and having wifi access allowed me to do a little work before everyone got up. The washer and dryer allowed us to pack light which is a definate plus. Melody, great job! I can't say enough good things about this place. The air-conditioned house is perfect to come home to after a day in the sun. We barbecued every night and hot-tubbed every morning. It's only a block away from the ocean and all the shops on Front Street, which is closer than any of the condos in Lahaina. The house itself is gorgeous! Plenty of deck space, a beautiful full kitchen that opens onto the living room. It really feels like home, except with a way better view!

Luxury, convenience, relaxation, spacious, comfort, and paradise at a value. This is a true, upscale vacation home! But the best price is that it has to be the best value on Maui. We actually didn't want to share comments to keep this a secret place to others, but I am sure that the word will get out. I think this perfect rental was recently remodeled and updated with all new technology: great grill, nice landscaped yard and patio, fully equipped kitchen, Ipod-hookups in every room and even the patio area that wraps around the house. There is also a convenient outdoor shower for those fun, sandy days. The location is the best in Lahaina with your own parking at the unit - all only one block from all the Lahaina Front Street action, beaches, and harbor! Truly the best value on Maui - Thanks for the wonderful value for our entire family.

This place was actually nicer than we had anticipated. There's a new deck with a jacuzzi and you can walk to the bars and restaurants on front street... everything is new at the house. Loved it!
