Awaken to birds beautifully singing. Enjoy whale watching from November to April. Read and feel the gentle trade wind breezes while relaxing on the lush green grounds.
Walk to fun shops and food stores, bike, snorkel and kayak shops, local gym, and enjoy excellent fine and casual dining at nearby restaurants. Enjoy long strolls along the beach or on the recently completed section of the Kauai Coastal Path from Kapaa Shore Resort!

KAPAA SHORE RESORT is located on Kuhio Highway 56, north of Lihue.
Only 10 minutes from the Lihue Airport. From airport turn right onto Highway 51.
Proceed 1.5 miles to the Hanamaulu stoplight. Highway 51 becomes Highway 56.
Continue North on Scenic Highway 56 approximately 5.5 miles to the entrance.
Receive directions to unit and key pick-up from the friendly front office staff.

Why the Owner Chose Kapaa
Our daughter moved to Oahu after she graduated from Kaua`i High School and mom needed a project! Also, we wanted a nice place for my parents to enjoy during their Kaua`i visits. I knew from the moment I stepped into our Hale Kipa that this was the view I wanted for my backyard! With the added lovely pool and BBQ area, this seaside home fit the bill!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Viewing activities going on around the ocean, enjoying awesome East Side sunrises, moonrises, pink sunsets, and strolling along the property in pure peacefulness, or bicycling to the end of the Kaua`i Coastal Path thoroughly taking in the rugged coastline.
Coastline and ocean view from inside the condo and lanai. Sounds of the sea lull you to relax and sleep well !!
Sheltered swim area surrounded by barrier rocks created by the Corp of Engineers. Two very large separate ponds, one for children and one for adults. Great for snorkeling and you can see colorful tropical fish with or without a mask! Located less than two miles from our seaside home. A very friendly beach that locals and visitors alike enjoy. Lifeguard on Duty.
Scenic public 18 hole golf course that runs along miles of ocean that locals and visitors really enjoy. Located two miles South of our home-away-from-home condo. It is the best golfing value along with the Kukuiolono Golf Course in Kalaheo, a place prefaced by locals as "God's Country" heading towards the West Side.
Paddle a kayak up to Fern Grotto or the falls or waterski to your hearts delight! Located less than two miles South from Kapaa Shore Resort.
The coastal path runs right from the Kapaa Shore Resort parking lot and along the ocean. Visitors and locals alike walk, run, bike, and roller skate along this very scenic and rugged coastline heading North for about 2 miles.
Great Luau and extensive gardens to enjoy, along with really great entertainment prefacing our multi-cultural community!
Great beach for surfers and boogie boarders. There is a scenic half-moon cove. Open ocean swimming, and generally for more advanced swimmers. Located 1 mile North of Kapaa Shore Resort. Lifeguard on Duty.

Our family has enjoyed sharing our condo with family, friends, and vrbo guests for over 9 years. It has been a joy for us to experience living by the ocean part-time so-to-speak, as we live full-time in our citified Lihue home. Our condo is definitely set up for visiting guests with some added comforts of home. Consequently, our guests feel pampered and we feel like pampered visiting guests when we are there!

We really enjoyed staying here, the place was comfortable and clean. Joanne is very sweet, and even called to check in on us! The best part was falling asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the beach. We will stay here again!

We had a delightful time escaping an Alaskan winter to this wonderful condo. Right on the bike trail, we enjoyed the beaches and biking right outside the door. Kauai is a great place to hike and we enjoyed going out in the day and coming back to a wonderful soak in the hot tub and splash in the pool. This property is very centrally located and the hostess was great with advice for adventuring and eating in the area. Thank you so much for your hospitality. This is a place we will love to return to!

My husband and I spent the month of March at this wonderful condo. We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. the condo is a perfect location. I would wake up in the morning and sit in the livingroom and look out at the ocean. What a great way to start the day. the location is perfect for walkers. There is a walking path a block away and we took a 4 mile walk daily with the ocean right beside us. Jo Ann was wonderful. We were treated very special and it is so nice to have the condo owner living on the island. We truly can't wait to go back and we will stay for another month.

Just returned from Kauai and 3 weeks of sunshine..This condo is perfect! Well appointed, everything you could ever dream of needing for a great holiday. Photos were true and the staff work very hard to keep the grounds and pool immaculate. Sit on the lanai and watch the ocean and the whales. Could not ask for a nicer place to escape our Canadian winter.

This is a lovely place in a fantastic location. The hospitality by the owner (and neverending answers to our questions!) was second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back!
