My business partner and I purchased our lake home a few years as an investment. We have been offering it as a vacation rental for several years now. I have enjoyed all the good people that we have rented to. We get many good comments about our Cozy Cottage, I am sure you will enjoy it as much as we do.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our Cozy Cottage is located on the Northern part of the lake, just minutes from the Wisp Resort when you can enjoy all the winter sports and in the summer ride the mountain rollicoster or the man made white water course. You really have to see it to believe it. We are also near great resturants and stores. Our lake front offers a relaxing shaded area with picnic tables and park grill. Not to mention the beauty of the lake and boat docking. We have a dock reserved for you.

I live at Deep Creek Lake and love it. There are so many things to do here, and it doesn't matter what time of the year. However I really enjoy the Fall. I own a construction Company and Real Estate office. I keep really busy. I have helped put many people into either vacation homes or retirement homes,plus many of native folks into there first home.

Great location & nice for dog owners, but very dirty. We found the linens and bed spreads covered with hair. The kitchen fllors, counter and drawers were filthy. There were mice droppings in kitchen drawers!!!! We had to mop thekitchen floor wipe out and all kitchen drawers. The kitchen was the worse..... little flatwear, utensils, dishes and pots for a rental home. After we washed and dried all the bed linens oursleves.... place was nice. The dock site issued the house was used by someone else most of our week!!!!!!!!!!! The basement needs a dehumidifier!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not be fooled by the VRBO wesite pictures, you share the driveway with the boathouse that is also rented out...... can be very crowded...... only good news is that there is parking on other side of road at lake. This place is not well managed or maintained!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At that time we were having some difficulties in with our cleaning crew and have sense hired new ones. We have the cottage now inspected on a weekly basis and can confirm that it is clean and well maintained. As for the dock, there does need to be arrangements made if you are going to need one. Thanks

House was ideally located with views of the lake and easy access to all local attractions/amenities. After having sampled most of the restaurants in the area we found Uno to be the one we liked best with a good choice of menu. House was comfortable but is starting to look tired and needs updating. Would definately recommend a change of bedding as these were washed out! However place was clean and had everything you would need on a holiday.

As far as updating, most of our renters do like the older look of a lake cozy cottage so we are not sure we want to change that atmosphere. We liked the cottage because we have stayed at the Cozy Cottage for two summers. It was clean and I would recommend this property to a friend or relative. The only thing that needs changed are the beds. They were very uncomfortable. The lake across the street was lovely and we all spent many hours on the deck. We were able to take our dog to a restaurant nearby. We all enjoyed our stay at the Cozy Cott Cottage..

We had a wonderful time at the Cozy Cottage and the lake view was beautiful. This was our first trip to the Deep Creek Lake area and we were pleasantly surprised how close the Cottage was to restaurants, State Parks and amenities. There was so much to do; but we didn't have time for it all. When we arrived, the lights were on and the door was open. Everything was ready for us and it was so inviting. The free dinner gift card was a bonus and delicious! We went right around the peak of the leaves changing and everything was beautiful. It was so nice to relax in the evening with a fire or a soak in the hot tub. We'd love to go back and stay longer and of course take the boat. We had such a relaxing trip. Thanks.

We arrived at the cottage late on a friday night, the lights were on and the door was open. The feeling was just outstanding just what were were looking for and just as cozy as it was discribed. We skied and enjoyed the great Restaurants in the local area. there was at least 4 or 5 just a few minutes from the cottage. We would highly recommend.
