I have stayed twice in The Maple for work travel. The apartments are clean, pleasant, comfortable, and best of all the process is completely hassle-free (ideal when arriving late at night, for example). Madison (the owner) is very helpful. The building is very conveniently located -- right next door to everything in Capitol Hill, and a quick taxi ride or circa 20-min walk to downtown Seattle. I recommend The Maple highly and will return next time I go to Seattle.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We had a comfortable and easy stay at The Maple. The location was very convenient, and we enjoyed having the space and privacy of our own apartment. All of the listing description were accurate, and the photos clearly showed the well-maintained apartment. The owners were very helpful in dealing with both our awkward arrival and our departure times. We would highly recommend The Maple as a great place to stay while in Seattle.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Exactly as described, this beautiful property (decorated with the spare chic modern feeling of an IKEA spread) is full of natural light and kept perfectly spotless. We would definitely recommend this property to friends and in fact did so while we were there. It's a convenient location, walking distance to shopping and dining, and situated in a nice neighborhood with pretty houses and gardens. We spent one whole afternoon just walking through the surrounding streets. I was nervous about the hardwood floors on an upper story being perhaps creaky, but they were not, and so our stay was quiet and comfortable. Now...the driveway. You must absolutely take the owners' advice and do NOT rent anything wider than a smallish-standard car (We had a Kia Rio, and I believe we had something like 1-2" of clearance for both side windows coming up the drive - however, the guy next to us had some kind of SUV and I guess he managed...). And the bathroom is also...not large. Two may not brush their teeth at the same time, let alone do hair or otherwise get ready to go out. I believe the owners have done an admirable job with the space, but do be warned, it is...not large. (Ladies, there IS a full length mirror, but it is mounted sideways on the wall. Just put it back when you're done :) Thanks for a lovely stay!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We visit our grand daughters here in Seattle and have tried various accommodations, hotels and vacation apartments. The Maple is by all means one of the best. We enjoyed and appreciated the quality, design, and comfort of the unit we rented and were also impressed by the daily diligence of the owners in making sure this fine place maintains it's high standards.Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This apartment was incredible! I've paid much more in Seattle for much less. The location was ideal. We walked everywhere we went and loved it's proximity to restaurants, shops and parks. The owners did a great job furnishing the place and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I would recommend this place to anybody.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
