The Maple is a gorgeous newly remodeled classic brick building with five vacation apartments perfectly appointed with everything you need to feel at home while traveling (see our other VRBO listings #105526 and #198056). This light filled top floor apartment is 800 square feet and comes with everything you need to feel at home during your travels. Complete with a queen size bed and down comforter in the bedroom, a bathroom with fluffy white towels & hair dryer, a dining room with seating for four, a fully stocked kitchen including salt & pepper and paper towels, a spacious living room with a pull out sleeper sofa, TV with Dish Network including FREE HBO and Showtime movie channels, CD player, phone, FREE high speed wi-fi internet access and FREE parking if reserved in advance. Because we own and operate the building ourselves (no management company or hired cleaners here) we are able to keep our rates low without sacrificing quality. If you find a better price for a comparable rental here in the city we will match it!
Conveniently located on the Eastern bench of downtown in the heart of Capitol Hill we are nestled between Broadway, the hub of Capitol Hill's commercial district, and the neighborhood joints on Fifteenth Avenue East. Hello, we are Madison and Marc, the owners and operators of The Maple. After living all over Seattle we fell in love with Capitol Hill and decided to settle down. We purchased The Maple in 2005. While living there we put Marcs skills as a finish carpenter and general contractor to use by remodeling each unit one at a time over 2 years. The finish product is five units we would live in ourselves that we are now renting out to folks on vacation. We operate the building ourselves from taking your reservation to making the beds. A little about us, we are a family of 4 with two girls Aice 2 y/o and Etta 2 months old ... and the dog, a Great Dane named Olive. We live on the back side of Capitol hill only about 10 minutes away. We've lived in Seattle for 15 years and love it.

This district is both urban and suburban with restaurants, shops, clubs and pubs fit for any mood just around the corner from a quiet neighborhood of prewar mansions, classic brick buildings and manicured parks perfect for a quiet stroll. We loved living here!
The Unique Benefits of this Apartments
One of the best things about The Maple is that we had all of the plumbing replaced during our remodel 2 years ago. What this means is that our water pressure is great and your shower will never go cold...which is priceless in my book. Each of our units has Dish Network Cable including all of the movie channels (HBO, Showtime, Cinemax, Encore etc). High efficiency front load washers and dryers are conveniently located right outside the back door of each apartment. Not only are these free to use we supply you with detergent and dryer sheets. The kitchens are stocked with complimentary coffee, salt and pepper, dish soap and a roll of paper towels. In the bathroom you will find fluffy white towels, a new bar of soap and a hair dryer. We've had over 500 guests since we opened 2 years ago and the only complaints we've had are that we are booked the extra nights they wanted to stay.
