We had a wonderful stay here! Weather was great. We even got to see a major thunderstorm off the coast at night which is something I’ve always wanter to see. What a great location, right off the beach! We enjoyed the ocean while we were eating breakfast on the balcony. Very nicely decorated and modern villa, we can tell you have invested well in the property. My wife especially loved it here – that says a lot!

We stayed in this beautiful Villa for three weeks in March. One always hopes the pictures demonstrate the quality and cleanliness of the Villa. We were pleasantly surprised that the Villa was exactly like the pictures, and even surpassed the images in many ways. It had modern appliances and kitchen. It was very well appointed and professionally decorated. It felt like a home. Part of our positive experience comes from Jim and Marlene who are customer driven, hands-on owners. They care about their property and their guest’s comfort. This Villa is one of the best within the Beach and Tennis Resort. We have already booked our return visit for 2012!

The villa was beautifully decorated and all the extras were wonderful. The mattress in the master bedroom was so comfortable. I am actually getting one for my home! Excellent access to beach and pool area. The extra beach chairs, umbrella, and sand toys saved a lot of packing. I would highly recommend this villa!

Thank you very much for making our trip fantastic. The villa is both beautiful and comfortable. We really needed to escape from our crazy lives and we are glad to have received the dose of relaxation that Hilton Head has provided. We ate at great restaurants, rode bikes on the beach, climbed to the top of the lighthouse... and witnessed a couple of absolutely beautiful sunrises. We'll be back soon!

Your unit was nice. Complex was dirty and smelled of mildew, ammenities were poor. We stayed only 3 nights of our paid 5, moved to the Westin. Second trip this year that we have used VRBO and moved to new accomodations.

Owner response:We were very disappointed to receive this review as we strive to provide a great vacation experience for all our guests as can be seen from all our other reviews. The Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Resort is an older property, directly on the ocean and is a great value for families. We have completed a total renovation of our condo which can be seen from the photos. We also provide a link to our website in our listing and have several exterior photos of the Beach and Tennis property available for our guests to see. We learned of our guests experience after they had departed when we called to discuss their review. While our guests did comment that they found our condo nice, the Beach and Tennis property and ammenities were not a match for them. Our guests decided to move to the Westin Hotel which provided them a hotel experience versus a private condo. Please feel free to give us a call so we can answer any questions about your stay on Hilton Head. Jim and Marlene

This was our first time to visit Hilton Head. We had a great time. The condo was decorated very nice (loved the colors-blues and browns)and very clean. The condo is supplied with everything you could think of. Our kids (age 10 and 13) loved the bunk beds. They did not want to get up in the morning :) It is just a short walk to the beach and pool ( which is very big). Jim and Marlene could not have been nicer. Jim called when we arrived on Saturday to make sure everything was good with the condo and the night before we left Jim called to see if we enjoyed our stay. Very nice people to deal with!! We really enjoyed our stay.

My wife and I loved staying here for our honeymoon! The kitchen was beautiful, the living room and bedroom were quite comfortable and you could see the beach from the 3rd floor balcony. The walk to the beach was short and the walk to the pool, shorter (across the parking lot!) and the location was easy to get to everything. The decor was not your stereotypical beach condo, but much classier in our opinion. We'd definitely come back!

The property was exactly as described. Everything was neat and clean, beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could ask for. Jim made the entire process painless. While the resort property is somewhat dated, the villa was like new and very well laid out, taking full advantage of the space provided. We would defintely stay here again if we return to Hilton Head.

We truly enjoyed our stay at your condo. The description and pictures of the condo were very accurate. The unit was very nicely decorated and updated. It was also very clean and well-maintained. Jim and Marlene provided excellent customer service, ie- sending information in the mail & calling to make sure everything was ok. The location of the condo to the pool & beach was perfect. The pool was very nice and big. The ocean view was wonderful. The condo is small but just the perfect size for two people or a couple with one or two small childern. I would highly recommend this property and would definately stay there again on my next visit to Hilton Head. The island is simply beautiful. The people were all very friendly. We loved exploring the island. It was kind of hard finding things at first (as everything is hidden behind a tree on Hilton Head) but we figured it out. I would highly recommend going on a sunset cruise of some sort as you geat a different view of Hilton Head from the water. This was our first time renting a condo for a vacation and we will never regret our decision. Jim and Marlene's condo is very tastefully decorated. We felt relaxed enough like we were in our own home and it was a great change from a regular boring hotel room. Ofcourse the location of the condo is fabulous! You can see the ocean from the balcony and the walk to the beach is literally a minute. And the pool is between the condo and the beach entrance....so thats even closer! The best part is that JIm and Marlene have thought of absolutely everything that will help you enjoy the comforts of your own home. You can afford to pack real light. They provide everything from towels, to kitchen utensils, iron, hair dryer (awesome!), beach towels, coffee machine, toaster.....even a blender! Our 18 month old had a blast and by the end of the trip she knew exactly which way the beach was. She would run there as soon as we got down the stairs :) We will have some wonderful memories of this beach condo because it was our daughter's first ever vacation and we could not have chosen anything better. We just enjoyed our first visit to Hilton Head Island and were so pleased that we chose to rent this condo! We really liked the Hilton Head Beach & Tennis Resort, it offered everything we needed in a relaxed, no frills atmosphere. This condo has been beautifully redone, with all the comforts of home - and is in an excellent location, just steps away from the pool and the boardwalk to the beach. The owners have really gone the extra mile, providing beach chairs and more in the storage locker, and the condo itself has every amenity we needed. I'd definitely recommend it, and we'd rent it again if we return to Hilton Head.

Great relaxing, modern, cozy villa

My wife and I recently stayed 4 nights in this wonderful villa. It was the perfect getaway for us. The villa was clean, well-stocked with anything you might need and the renovated kitchen and newer furnishings made it very cozy with a touch of class. The villa is located in a fairly quiet resort complex with lots of families around. It's a two minute stroll to a beautiful stretch of beach and the villa's patio provides a nice view of the ocean as well. We enjoyed the beach chairs and umbrella that were provided for our leisure time on the beach. We enjoyed an amazing week of 80 degree weather in early spring which added to our enjoyment of the beach and biking on the island. We brought our own bikes but the resort had bike rentals available for riding on the numerous paths around Hilton Head. The villa's location on Hilton Head is great. For one, the beach access is tough to beat. Two, it's right off the major road/highway that goes across the island. We had no trouble finding quality restaurants nearby and also found the appliances to be in great working order for our basic cooking needs. Overall, this was great place for a relaxing getaway at a phenomenal value. The property owners run the rental like professionals and everything from check in to check-out was easy and convenient. I reviewed a lot of hotels, resorts and other villas on the island and I could not be more pleased with my selection of this property. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This was a short stay for us. This unit is far the best I have seen at HHB& T. I would recommend this unit and I would stay here in a heartbeat again and again! It is just lovely to sit out on the balcony and admire the ocean view. I have stayed at many units at the complex over many years and this is just beautiful.You can not believe the kitchen redo! Owners run the rental as professional agents too. Please come and enjoy this unit while there is vacancies!

What a wonderful place! This villa had it all - great location, comfort and warm & inviting decorating. Great care had been given to details and essentials. We did not find one thing that we needed that was not provided. The owners were fabulous to deal with treated us more like friends that "tenants". I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone. I only hope the next time we go we can stay longer.

Found this unit on VRBO absolutely beautiful The most luxurious we found and owners really wonderful. Weather was not perfect BUT the unit made up for it. One month is a great length of stay. We are still here and enjoying an Ocean view. Everything is here not to mention the elevator for us older folks. The furnishings are top level and comfortable. Kitchen is terrific and has it all.
