If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing place to stay we would recommend this property. Very clean and nicely decorated. The only draw back for us was the thermostat was locked (per the mgmt co.) at 75-76 and we were unable to adjust the temperature to a cooler setting, this made sleeping uncomfortable.Recommended for: Age 55+
Owner response: We are glad you had a good time and enjoyed our home. In regards to the thermostat, most electric companies suggest leaving the thermostat set at 78. With every room having ceiling fans it makes it very comfortable especially at the time of year you stayed.

I got lucky and was able to book this place the week before my Wife's scheduled vacation. It was a beautiful unit, and it really felt like a home away from home. The houses are right on top of each other in Venture Out, but the owners set this place up with a nice secluded back patio, perfect for enjoying a few drinks after a long day of activities in the keys. My wife and I slept in the guest bedroom, because it had the door leading to the patio. (the mattress in the master bedroom is way better, but both are comfortable). I would reccomend this unit to a couple or a small family. the community is equidistant from Key West and Bahia Honda, our two favorite places in the Keys. the unit was very clean and cozy, and set up to make you feel at home during your vacation. My only regret is that I had to leave and go back to work.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

This was my 2nd, (and best), stay in Venture Out. Execllent community - safe & everyone is always very friendly. This property was the perfect place to stay: It has a great location within the community, the interior has a great flow, and the back yard is very nice - spacious and private. All the comforts of home! With Key West, (among other things), just a short drive away you are never far from something to do ... if you choose. Or just hang out and enjoy the great pool and the comfort of your home away from home.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Great time, both times we stayed. Could use some new mattress. Air mattress were to have been blown up, were not but we found them. Nicely equipedRecommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing.

We stayed at your home-away-from-home for two months. We really wanted to get away for an extended period of time. We had a wonderful and relaxing experience. The community of Venture Out was very friendly, safe, and easy to get around. Frankly, I have never felt safer while on vacation. And, best of all, we were able to have our beloved pets with us. The rules regarding pets are reasonable and the community is very "pet friendly." There are absolutely gorgeous tennis courts (2) and there are lights for night play. The huge pool is heated and terrific for an evening swim, after tennis, or any time. There was plenty of room in our home, and the place was meticulous and well kept. Kitchen was very conducive for cooking and "eating in." Of course, there were fabulous restaurants, very close by, (all very casual attire) for the mouth watering "catch of the day." Everyone was very friendly and easy going within the community. We had a wonderful time and would recommend this rental for anyone who wants to have a great vacation.Did you find this review helpful? My husband and I wanted to get away from the Miami noise as well as take my mother and father to a relaxing place who came to visit us from Las Vegas Nevada and of course we did not want to leave our pug behind so we decided to rent this place from april 28, 2011 for 4 days. It was the best, just like the pictures, i was amazed how it provided everything from the grill to the pool towels unlimited amounts! I recommend this place the community residents as well as the employees were very nice. I will definetely make this place the number one choice when staying in the Keys. Thank you to the owners and Dolberry Realty also very pleasant people. Beautiful home! The bed was very comfortable. The home was spotless and comes equipped with all of the necessities. My wife and I really enjoyed staying here, and hope to do so again in the future. We recommend this home to anyone looking to get away for a bit and enjoy the peace and quiet of a secure community. The resort itself is very quiet and peaceful. We loved the heated pool with an ocean view. Sadly the jacuzzi was being rebuilt during our stay, but no other complaints at all. Thank you for sharing your home with us!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My family all five of us and our German Shephard loved are stay. The home was beautiful and clean and had everything and more we needed. The pictures of the home can't compare to the wonderful home and condition and the great atmosphere of the home. The home is in a great community and secure. The pool was warm clean and so much fun. My children are all teens and they enjoyed the basketball courts and riding bikes. The area is a beautiful as well and quiet and laid back just what you want when you want to get away. Can not say enough great things about the home and resort all I can say is we would go back any time and we are all thankful to have had such a wonderful stay.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, pet owners.

Here is a review we got from the Dunns who stayed for 3 weeks in January, '09. We had a wonderful time, although the weather was not as nice as we would have preferred. We did not get to use the pool as often as we wanted, since it was too cool. But we enjoyed the community get togethers such as TGIF, movies, exercise, and games. This vacation was one of my favorites because of this great place to stay. We had every single thing that we needed. Every time I looked for something I needed, it was there. The beds were very comfortable. The home was extremely beautiful and very clean. My son had a great time from the pool, to the ocean, to the jacuzzi, to the ping pong and pool tables and I got to finish my novel by the pool. It was perfect.
