The unit was completely remodeled (2007)with the finest furnishings and decor offering a fully equipped kitchen (NEW STAINLESS APPLIANCES 7/09) and a separate area for relaxation and entertaining. The living area offers a gas fireplace, and seating for up to six adults on a top grade leather sofa. The sofa folds out to a comfortable queen bed. ( a feather mattress is provided for the queen bed too!) A large flat screen HDTV and DVD/CD/IPOD entertainment center makes this the perfect place to relax. Glass doors lead to a private balcony with a stone table and rocking chairs to enjoy the views of the mountain. The Dining area features a magnificent mirror to reflect the majesty of the mountain. A beautifully hand-crafted crystal and iron chandelier provides the perfect lighting over the new table that seats four in comfy leather seats. The Master Bedroom features a deluxe King bed with a luxurious feather mattress, fine linens and feather pillows. A flat screen TV with remote is perfectly placed. Hi Connie/Jim, Just wanted to let you know we had a great time. Our friends want to rent a duplicate condo like yours. They could not believe the difference! And how nice you guys were in offering the airport pickup, Jim taking the time to show us a quick tour, really really needed the goggles and your daughter’s pants were warmer than mine. They told their other friends who were also here that we had the nicest condo owners. And my friend Trish told me to thank you 100 hundred times for use of the crockpot for her food allergy issues. I made sure I put everything back. So we really appreciated everything and look forward to coming back. Thanks again. Nanda

My wife and I made last minute plans to go to Mammoth for the weekend. This was the perfect place for us. It was very quiet, and the condo was beautifully decorated. The owners have great taste and maintain their unit well. We enjoyed the special touches, like the toiletry kit and the honor wine bar. We left an extra bottle of wine in the tradition of "leaving the woodpile a little higher than we found it." Next time we will bring our mountain bikes. We didn't realize that Mammoth had turned into such a mountain bike recreational area.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.

HI Jim and Connie, We want to thank you for the opportunity of allowing us to experience you mountain oasis at Sunstone. We fully enjoyed our stay and found the location to be suburb for both convenience and seclusion. From the moment we unlocked the door and entered into your dwelling it felt like home... and the sense of family. Not only was your property beautifully decorated and well appointed with the latest in appliances and accessories, but totally spotless. Your special appointments to detailed amenities and signature gifts, gave us a feeling of warmth and an overwhelming feeling of elegance. Your kitchen was furnished with all the accoutrements needed to give any seasoned cook the feeling of confidence with the ability to concoct some of our own signature dishes with ease. The gorgeous tiled bathroom with a deep tub was well deserved at days end. This is not to shadow the extra plus the Master bedroom had to offer with the deluxe king feather bed and pillows, which felt so rewarding after a day of various activities. If we were to rate our experience at SlopeSide Mammoth, it would be a TEN PLUS! We know that you put a lot of time and thought into making your place a home instead of just another rental... and it shows. We have rented condos in Mammoth many times before and NEVER have we been as totally satisfied as we were when renting your beautiful home. It is not only very nicely furnished, ideally situated to the slopes, and conveniently located near the large supermarket, but it has all of the fine touches that a 5 star hotel might offer--snacks, spa accessories, chocolates and more. The condo is beautifully decorated and very comfortable and appeals not only to adults but to young teens too!! We immediately felt comfortable and well cared for. The kitchen is furnished with all the necessary things for cooking and all of the choices in decorations make you feel as if a lot of love and care has gone into your condo. Jim and Connie, Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know that we had a great time staying at your condo in Mammoth. Friday we snowboarded in 2 feet of fresh powder and Saturday we went on a 60 mile snowmobile trip and cut trails into virgin powder. The weather was blue sky for three days and everything just seemed to go our way all weekend. Your condo was really nice and the Jacuzzi hit the spot as the temperature dropped below 10 degrees by the time the sun went down. Thanks again, Tom
