This spacious, quality-crafted home decorated with the work of local artists offers over 3,600 square feet of living space on two acres of land with a pond. The three master suites, each with its own private bath, makes it ideal for couples or extended family. A fourth bedroom contains two twin beds each with trundle bed below.

The main living area features an open floor plan which includes a full kitchen with island and four bar-height chairs that allows social activity and meal preparation simultaneously. Dining table comfortably seats eight and with addition of leaf, ten. A gas-fired fireplace located between the dining area and living area provides a cozy atmosphere.

The ground floor rec room features a 46" wide-screen TV, game table, table tennis and another full bath with jacuzzi. Lastly on the upper floor situated between two master bedrooms is a loft sitting area that is the perfect spot to relax with a book or simply enjoy the mountain views.

Ski Stowe just 15 minutes away or choose from 5 other resorts (Sugarbush, Mad River Glen, Smugglers Notch, Jay Peak and Bolton Valley) within 45 minutes. Cross-country skiing nearby at Trapp Family Lodge or Stowe Mountain Resort. In Summer 5 golf courses are within a 1/2 hour drive. Walk or ride the scenic 8-mile Stowe rec path.   • Our family of 10 (7 adults and 3 children) stayed a week at this wonderful home. Robert Whitley was wonderful to deal with and the accomodations were great! We found everything we needed and more waiting for us when we arrived! Robert was very helpful and responded to emails very quickly each time we contacted him for information. I hope to return again for another family reunion! Stowe area is a beautiful place and offers many things for families to do. You can't go wrong with this home or this area! Go and enjoy!

  • What a great house! Perfect layout for the 4 adults and 7 kids. Weather in late September in Northern VT was wonderful. Highlights: Oktoberfest in Stowe, Gondola, Alpine Slide, Smuggler's Caves, Ben & Jerry's. Also, Pie in the Sky Pizza was great too. The nightly cloud in the field was eerily engaging, as was the sunrise over the Wooster range. Kids enjoyed the goldfish & frogs, as well as exploring and enjoying the horses up the road. Would we rent again? Absolutely.

  • Greetings, We originally rented this home in the summer of 2003 for my parents 50th wedding anniversary. It's a truly wonderful place for a family event - with 3000+ square feet of space, there's plenty of room for all to enjoy. Plus, it's a few miles north of Stowe, so its off the beaten path, so to speak, and is very serene with a great view of the mountains. We had such a great time last year, we are going back in the summer of 2004 (only this time, it's our 10th anniversary, and we are going to make the grandparents babysit!). The owners are friendly and helpful, and willing to help with any questions or arrangement issues. I highly recommend this wonderful place as a vacation spot.
