CasaTeca is one of two homes in the Casatulco compound, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains of Oaxaca.

The nearest beach is a short stroll away. Many of the 36 pristine beaches are a short ride from the house.

The compound is conveniently located between La Crucesita, Huatulco's downtown area, and Tangolunda, one of the largest bays in Huatulco.

  • Casa Teca far exceeded our expectations! After a long trip we felt like we had walked into our own private paradise. The beautiful beaches and surrounds beckoned but on some days we opted for lazing by the huge pool, bird & butterfly watching and with every convenience to hand. Kati & Raquel do everything possible to ensure you do nothing but relax and enjoy your time. We felt like special house guests in a home that is clearly a masterpiece of time & love put in by Veronica and Omar. Huatulco and CasaTeca have left us with lasting memories of a restful holiday in a beautiful part of the world that we will hopefully have the opportunity to return to again soon.   • We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay in Huatulco! Veronica and Oman's home is magnificent, peaceful, and relaxing...we had an amazing time! The staff, Caty and Raquel, do an amazing job taking care of everything at the property...and also take advantage of Caty's cooking! Huatulco is a wonderful place, far different from the other beach destinations of Mexico. The beaches are wonderful and make sure you take the opportunity to tour the Bay's by boat! We cannot recommend this property enough!

  • The houses were hands-down stunning... even better than the photos on the website (usually it's the other way around)... it was like something out of a Met Home magazine! Comfy beds, cool, sleek, yet comfortable furnishings and a house staff that all did such a great job in making us feel welcome and well-attended to! The pool was perfect & the lovely garden and roof-top terrace were a great place to escape to and laze the day away in a shady spot with a good book and a cool drink. The natural beauty of the Huatulco area is spectacular... don't miss the beaches of Conejo, Cacaluta (an hour trek through the jungle... but worth it) and San Agustin- the best snorkelling. La Crucecita is such a charming little town with good restaurants & shopping. There's also a brand new supermarket less than 5 minutes from the houses. We had such a wonderful time that we can't wait to return again next year!

  • Once you step through the front gate, a place of peace and tranquility awaits you. Veronica, Omar, Caty, and Raquel provide first class accomodations. The shared pool was a concern but with it's design provided us with all the privacy we needed. We can't say enough about our wonderful stay at CasaTeca. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sress free, relaxing holiday in a magnificent setting.

  • CasaTeca was magnificent. We loved everything about the place. We are very quality conscious and appreciate all the little details and we were continually thrilled as we got to know the place and got settled in. The staff is top notch – warm, friendly, kind, polite and unobtrusive and we even liked the neighbors and had dinner together one night. Our kids and theirs were, of course, constant pool buddies. The butterfly garden, the upstairs deck, the amazing artwork, the Miami Vice color scheme, the entertainment system, sounds of the Zen fountain, the cactus still life between the houses, the sense of security behind high walls and solid steel doors, pool design (loved the mosaic, very cool), maintenance and housekeeping standards and every other little detail I haven’t mentioned: but we did notice! We cannot say enough nice things about our experience and would love to go back at some time. The support staff was excellent and caring and helped with every detail. The email sent prior to our arrival also provided invaluable guidance. We did the pool each morning and a different beach each day and on a couple of occasions more than one! We could not have envisioned how amazing this vacation would have turned out during our planning phase: it was beyond our imaginations!

  • What a relaxing getaway--an authentic-but-upscale retreat, estilo Mexicano. We jumped on our scooters for nearby snorkeling, jungle tour, shopping and restaurants, and enjoyed bird and butterfly watching from the porch. Having the amenities of the tourist zone without the ruckus (or the pricetag!)is a plus. Be sure to have Raquel make you a batch of his special recipe margaritas.

  • I've enjoyed beach hideaways from Thailand to South Africa to Colombia, and up and down both sides of Mexico and Central America. Casatulco is a must-do and, for me, a certain return destination. Omar and Veronica have built a unique retreat with four star comfort in a beautiful wildscape setting, a bike's ride to the beaches and jungle, the town plaza and cafes. It's a pefect place to go and recharge. Bird watchers, surfers, travelers heading farther south, all will find Casatulco the perfect way station. The guest house and pool set amid a nature preserve is ideal for two couples or a family. We spent the week watching a pair of orioles build their nest in the branches above us as we lounged poolside with margaritas in hand. Leave your cell phones and Blackberries at home. Have a tequila. Bring sun screen.

  • Oh my God!! This house is an Architectural Dream!! The house is decorated with great taste and location is very good. A taxi is just $2.00 to town and the beaches are all close by and fabulous!! The Staff on the house is superb. Went there in June with wife and 2 kids and cant wait to go back. I would recommend you ask the owners of the house if you can borrow their bycicles for a breath taking experience, a must do!!!! Off shore fishing is world class at a Waltmart price. No crowds anywhere.Oh, did I mention the snorkeling??? Awesome!!!
