A beautiful luxury villa that is just a short walk to the beach and town. This is a three master bedroom, 3 ½ bath, private home with a unique, modern Mexican architectural style; colonial interiors and beautiful hand-crafted furnishings. All rooms have independent air-conditioning and ceiling fans with remote control.
On the main floor you will find a large living room and dining area. There is a spacious state of the art kitchen with all stainless steel appliances, microwave and fresh water cooler. This kitchen is fantastic for entertaining. There is a gas grill on the patio if you prefer to cook outside and you can eat at the patio table and then relax close to the HEATED pool on the rattan couch and chairs.
On the main floor is one bedroom with two single beds, (which can be converted to a king-size bed), and a beautiful marble and granite ensuite.
As you access the upstairs you will find a reading area with a futon to accommodate extra guests. From there you enter either of two master bedroom suites, each suite has a king-size bed and beautiful granite and marble ensuite. Each of the master bedrooms has a private balcony with furniture for relaxing, while enjoying a refreshing margarita.

My wife and I spent 3 fabulous weeks in this beautiful home. It was absolutely great accommodations, first class in every way. Very clean, modern and well maintained along with full housekeeping services twice per week. Impressive development with seven homes surrounding the pool, very private and exclusive residence. Would go back in a heartbeat and offer sincere recommendations to others. Location is perfect and within comfortable walking distance to Play del Carmen. Great taxi service with a standard rate per trip of $70 pesos (about $5.00 CND).. Every driver asked for price and was always quoted "Seven Dollars" but paid in pesos.
Recommended for:Tourists without a car, age 55+.

It was amazing and the set up couldn't have been any better. The house is beautiful and so well taken care of. Our first trip to Mexico was in 2009 and we stayed at an all inclusive.... not anymore.... this was the ultimate way to take a vacation. The location was perfect and we really enjoyed 5th Avenue on a few occasions. The restaurants we had a few meals at were very good also. The information Mark provided us with was very helpful and detailed. We had 3 teenagers with us and they had an amazing time and between the pool and the Reef club they had endless things to see and do. The morning walk around the community was awesome too. The locals are also very nice people to deal with. We will RETURN AGAIN to this amazing house!! I would recommend this home to anyone. Thanks so much Mark and Yvonne for allowing us to stay at you wonderful Mexican home.

This was our second vacation here and, once again, everything was excellent. The weather was perfect and hot. It was nice to come back from the beach and cool off with a dip in the pool. The king bed was comfortable and we kept comfortable all night with the AC or the fan. I got through 3 great books sitting on the patio admiring Antonio's gardening expertise. He showed up every morning and smiled all day as he worked tirelessly. It's great to see a man take pride in his work. We walked to 5th avenue almost very night for ice cream after enjoying great BBQ or dining there. Las Manianitas has great pizza. My wife had a fabulous massage and I played golf at the Playa Car golf resort a block away....great course. Mayakoba is an out of this world course only 20 minutes away. Absolutely everything was as promised...again....and we'll be back.

Mark, We ABSOLUTELY loved your house! We too own a home in Playacar, much smaller and definately not as upgraded as your home. Our condo is rented long term and wasn't big enough for our group of 6. Love how open your kitchen is to the living room & dining room. You had everything to cook and entertain, although we never cooked! Your beds are so comfy and I can tell anyone who is reading this that the normal bed in a majority of the Mexican resorts/villas/condos are hard. We just always expect a hard bed! We only asked for maid service once since there were plenty of towels! Your house is so perfect for the normal renter because the Reef Club Playacar is almost across the street, nice so you don't have to take a taxi. And I loved that it was so quiet. I wasn't worried about our stuff in the house when we were gone, although we did use your safe for our passports, cameras and jewelry. Very impressed with Management company. Thanks for everything Mark. We had a fabulous time and can't wait to go back. The beach is out of this world and the sand is white and powdery. I golfed 3 rounds on the couse right behind the house and just loved it. The weather was perfect for the 2 weeks that we were there. Every night we walked to 5th avenue for supper, shopping and just to people watch. What a great spot. We stayed in and used the BBQ a few times and would recommend that to everyone. We were able to find inexpensive groceries in huge clean modern stores (Walmart was our favorite) and even took a run into Costco in Cancun for steaks. The Mayan Riviera is truly a beautiful gem and thank you again for exposing us to that. We look forward to renting from you again. Stew M.

Wow! Is this place paradise or what? We had a wonderful time in your beautiful hone away from home. The house is ideally located with very short walks to the beach, and the famous 5th Ave in Playa del Carmen. The heated pool is huge and lots of fun for our son (10). Thnaks for the advice on where to shop and where to go for activities...we really enjoyed our day at Xel-Ha. The property management people are first rate and the maids do an excellent job. We were so impressed by how clean everything is.The outside gardens are groomed to a tee. We will be back next winter for sure! Darren F.

Casa Alegria is beautiful! The photos don't do it justice. The house is immculately clean, beautifully decorated ans spacious. Everything that we could possibly want was in the house. The kitchen was modern and beautiful and completely stocked with everything you could need. Mark was great to work with and made sure that all of our needs were taken care of.. With 3 little ones, we really appreciated having access to the high chair and play pen. We will definately go back!! Jill A.

We had a great time! It couldn't have been in a better location. The beach was great especially for the children. The pool and surroundings at Casa Alegria were outstanding as was the home itself. We really apprciated your great service and will look forward to coming back again!
