This home is over 6000 sq ft in size, has 5 bedrooms and 5 baths and is located on 40 acres backing to Roosevelt National Forest. Rustic mossrock on the outer walls, beamed and vaulted ceilings and huge panoramic windows welcome the essence of Colorado living into the heart of this home. Enormous redwood decks extend the inside space to encompass the views and outside living areas. The 10 person hot tub seems to hang on the edge of the mountain side where you can enjoy the surrounding mountain views for miles and miles. Enjoy the many winter and summer activities offered in the Estes Park area. White water rafting, snow shoeing, skiing, hiking, mountain biking and fishing are only a few. Saddle up your horses and ride or hike into the national Forest. The on-site trails at the top of the ridge are accessible from the front doorway and lead into millions of acres of untouched National Forest Land perfect for picnics and hiking. Perhaps you'd rather spend a day reading a book quietly by one of the many wood burning fireplaces. Or sunbathe on one of the many decks, or cook for your group in our gourmet kitchen. Elk and deer are always grazing around the home and are visible through the large picture windows which flank the sides of this spectacular estate of cedar and stone. You will also enjoy occasional sightings of bear, fox, cougar and coyote. Some exceptional features of this property include a 7 stall horse barn, steamroom, mounted hunting trophies, clawfoot tubs, several fireplaces and a game cleaning room with walk-in freezer,helicopter pad and 10 person hot tub. Our guests return again and again to this spectacular estate for family reunions and large gatherings or just to enjoy the privacy afforded by this magnificent property. We provide our guests with all the comforts of home including upgraded linens and towels, paper products, soaps, shampoos, lotions and complimentary coffee. The owner is nearby and always available to ready to answer questions or attend to any emergencies. In the main living area by the fireplace you will find, restaurants menus, maps and additional information regarding things to do and see in the area. WE want to make your stay as pleasurable as possible, so don't hesitate to ask for reccomendations on restaurants and activities.
