Welcome to our mountain escape in beautiful Vail, Colorado. This large 3 plus bedroom, 2 bath, 2 level condominium is located in the Interlochen condominiums in West Vail.
The unit sleeps 8 comfortably. The main level has two bedrooms (2 twin beds, 1 queen), a full bath, full kitchen with barstools at peninsula, dining room, large open living room with floor-to-cathedral ceiling views of the mountains and Gore Creek. A fantastic year-round retreat!
The living room contains a large cable TV, DVD player with selection of DVDs, stereo and Sony Playstation. High-speed wireless internet. The deck off of the living room is fitted with patio furniture and a gas grill.
The upper level contains the master bedroom (king) with TV, full bath, and spacious loft area (separate from bedroom) with a pullout sleeper couch.
Located within the town of Vail, the area known as West Vail is 5 minutes from Vail Mountain and 10 minutes from Beaver Creek.
The town of Vail's free shuttle bus makes regular stops at Interlochen, providing worry free travel to and from the mountain and Vail Village. Bus stop is steps away from the condo.
The shopping area of West Vail (about 1 mile away) contains two large supermarkets, liquor stores, Starbucks, restaurant and various retailers.
Interlochen is located on the Town of Vail bike path, which runs for many miles along Gore Creek. A great option for travel in the summer! The portion of Gore Creek which runs through West Vail and along Interlochen has been designated "Gold Medal" waters for trout fishing by the Colorado Division of Wildlife. Children can play in the areas along Gore Creek and in the Interlochen Courtyard.
