We are offering our 1 bedroom condominium in the gated Black Creek Sanctuary at Mountain Creek Resort. Our beautiful unit has a fully-equipped kitchen, fireplace, high-speed internet, TVs and a laundry room. You can pull your car right up to your unit and unpack. How easy and convenient! In Black Creek Sanctuary you have a roomy, spacious condominium unit with convenient parking. At the Appalachian Hotel, you have to park in the garage and walk to your room. We are so much more convenient!

Mountain Creek is located 50 miles from New York City. There is so much to do here! You can fish, golf, mountain bike and hike in the spring, summer and fall and you can ski or snowboard in the winter right at Mountain Creek's own slopes. There is also a great waterpark right on the premises for those hot, summer days!

Mountain Creek is truly a luxury resort nestled in the mountains of Vernon, NJ. Each unit is individually owned. Please rent directly from us and save a lot of money. Our rates are much lower than those offered by the resort management. We love to rent on a monthly basis, too, and have grandparents using our unit to visit with their grandchildren over the summer.

  • This is a very nice unit with great views and access to North Jersey and New York City. Dining and golf resorts are within 10 miles of this unit. We enjoyed our stay. We would rental this unit again.

  • Our weekend at Black Creek Sanctuary was excellent. Barbara, the owner, was very accomadating and the condo was perfect. Clean, cozy and in a perfect location for getting to Mountain Creek. With two teenage boys, we could not have asked for a better situation. The condo was very roomy, well maintained and very relaxing. We all enjoyed the hot tub and the serenity of the complex.

  • Barbara, the owner was a very nice person to deal with. Our family of three with a small child had a wonderful and relaxing time at Black Creek Sanctuary. The nicely furnished condo was just the right size for us. The nature walk through the small areas of wet lands inside the gated community was refreshing. Although the outdoor pool wasn't open during our stay (open only on the weekends during off peak), the heated outdoor hot tub was fun. We used the nearby Sussex County YMCA pool ($20 per family, daily) for swimming. Our overall experience at Black Creek Sanctuary was very good. We hope to come back next time perhaps for a longer stay.

  • This is a lovely unit--very clean and cozy. Pros included free internet, fire place, large bathroom, and great pool and hot tub just steps from the condo. Unit can fit 4, but I would recommend keeping it to 2-3 (unless some members of your group are children).
