  After reading a previous review on this condo, I was very pleasantly surprised at the condition of this condo. We thought it was great for the price! We could tell they put some effort into it. Lots of things looked brand new like the big TV in the living room with a DVD player. The sheets, towels, curtain all looked clean and new. There is a TV in the bedroom now and a very nice coffe maker. You can choose between an Aero bed or the sofa sleeper for those who want to sleep to the ocean's waves. The ac units in the living room and bedroom worked just fine. The best thing about this condo is the view! Sitting out in the lanai (on what appeared to be brand new furniture) enjoying this fabulous full on ocean front view is my favorite thing to do. The kids on the other hand, we couldn't keep out of the meticously maintained ocean front pool. Again, location location, location. We walked everywhere-all right along the ocean! We walked all the way into downtown Lahaina with two little kids! We ate at some great restaurants that are only a 5-10minute walk away like Aloha Mixed Plate, Mala, Honu, and Five Palms. Safeway is only a skip away which was so convenient. We would stay here again in an instant!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

  My husband and I spent four wonderful nights at the Lahaina Roads Condo. We were concerned because of the last review, but were more then pleasantly surprised by the immaculately clean space, huge flatscreen TV, brand new appliances and fun island decor and artwork. Hoping to avoid the crowded insanity of summertime at the larger resorts, we chose this rental because of the very private pool just feet from the ocean, easy (free) parking and short stroll to some of our favorite Lahaina restaurants. Our morning ritual of enjoying coffee on the lanai, looking straight down into tide pools so clear that you can actually see the fish swimming was so relaxing that we repeated it each evening with a glass of wine and the sunset. We will definately be back! Aloha!

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

  We were very pleased with your condo! We found that you had just about everything we needed! We had awesome weather everyday. We only slept in the bedroom one night, so we could hear the ocean and feel the wonderfull breeze that blows thru the condo. The beach chairs and snorkel gear came in handy. We donated an extra mask and snorkel that we purchased so we wouldn't have to carry it home. (only used it once!) Anyway, we had a blast! Loved your condo! Thanks!

  My husband and I brought our little 1.5 year old. We enjoyed the beaches. My husband loved snorkeling, (thanks for the gear.) The beach umbrella and coolers also came in handy. It was such a great trip to just relax and enjoy the beautiful nature there. Loved this condo on the water. We watched sunsets & listened to the waves all night long. We loved our stay! Thanks!

  Aloha Pat & Donna here. Has been Great Weather!! We met up with friends who live in Kihei & had a very fun time. Since this is our 6th time on Maui we did not do a lot of the tourist stuff....just enjoyed friends & the beautiful view from your condo. This is the third year in a row that we have stayed at Lahaina Roads. Love the location! Love the beaches, love the warm weather & ocean. We plan to return next year!! Mahalao Pat & Donna

  We loved the location, view, pool and grounds. We were within walking distance to several delicious eateries, grocery and pharmacy, shopping mall, Starbucks, bus stop and Old Lahaina Luau. Each night we sat on our Lanai and watched the sunsets and surfing sea turtles. The condo itself needs updating (mostly cosmetic) compared to the other condos at Lahaina Roads. The screen at the sliding door was duct-taped to the frame and the sheers were drooping from the rod and dirty, there was only one TV and they had a VCR not a DVD, a room A/C which didn't reach the bedroom, and the oven door had a piece of masking tape on the handle that said "Do not use, glass broken". The ice maker didn't work and the coffee maker was old. The sleeper sofa was extremely uncomfortable also. I would definitely recommend Lahaina Roads to friends, but I would not recommend this particular condo.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

  Owner response: Thank you so much for your feedback. We do try our best to make your stay at #307 as pleasant as possible. Our deepest apologies that our unit did not meet your standards. In response to your comments, the unit had a complete kitchen and bathroom remodel within the last four years. We have purchased a DVD player and a brand new coffee pot. The curtains and screen door are scheduled to be cleaned and repaired. Being on a remote island does have some drawbacks, items need to be ordered from the mainland which is why there is a sign on the oven door. We are sorry you still did not find the air conditioning to be satisfactory, even after we came to the unit to personally adjust it for you. We also found the bedroom to be well air conditioned at checkout. Thank you again for bringing these items to our attention, with guest feedback we hope to make your expierence and those of future guests as hospitable as we can. Mahalao Nui Loa!
