Our stay at this condo has been extremely relaxing getting away from the main-stream. The condos are owenership with accommodations that make you feel at home. Beautiful sun sets & great sheltered swimming cove up the road. Molokai is like going back in time with no rush, a perfict place to unwind. Bob & Lib

My sister and I stayed at the condo for a week, and we had a great experience. If you do your research and a real get-away is on your agenda, Molokai is a wonderful choice! We enjoyed discovering remote deep-water bays at the end of several miles of dirt-road, long walks down a beautiful wind-swept beach-path with a super-cute local dog that adopted us, a devine bakery in town with the Worlds Best Mexican Butter Cookies, and friendly locals every where we went . We did not use the local store on site, because we found a charming General Store a few miles from the condo on the old macadamia nut farm. Barb and Cal, the owners of the condo, were very helpful, and the info they sent us when we booked was all were ever needed to get around. They went out of their way to provide everything we needed, including dropping off things that were not included in the contract. They gave us insider information on things like saving money on rental cars and the best airlines, and tips to see "locals only" things like the ancient fish-ponds. Barb was even super understanding when we missed our flight and arrived late! The place was very clean and included everything you could need for an amazing stay. We ended up staying a few extra days because we didn't want to leave! I would not only recommend the condo, I will be back !

This condo was cute and studio style with the pull-out bed, living space, and kitchen all open and the bathroom area closed off. It was very clean and fully stocked. Everything you would have in your home, they have in this condo available for your use. We were surprised at everything was available to us. The Russell's really try to make their condo your home away from home. The information in the books and binders had a lot of helpful information for our stay. We loved the views that we had from the lanai as well as the short walks to the beach were a sunrise and sunset must. The laundry facilities were extremely close by and the shopette was just a short walk away and had pretty much everything you needed. We loved Molokai so much, it was a great break from the hustle and bustle of tourism and city life we see on Oahu. We loved its "small-town" feel, as we are both originally from small towns in Virginia. We loved the lush green landscapes, the spotted deer and other wildlife, the gorgeous secluded beaches, the gorgeous hikes to waterfalls, and the people were extremely nice there. We did not have one bad experience and we would recommend that everyone take a trip to Molokai and stay at the Russell's condo! Jamie & Courtney

My husband and I enjoyed our Honeymoon in Molokai. This condo was perfect for us! We understood there was no alot to do on this island and we were excited to have some time to relax. (We spent a few days in Maui on our way home.) The beach views were beautiful and it was very peaceful at this condo location. The condo was very well kept and clean. It was fun to see some of the locals surfing. The beaches were nice and clean and very secluded. We enjoyed walking on the grounds and visiting the nearby shops. We bought groceries in town and enjoyed being able to cook at the condo and on the BBQ pit. We have recommeded this condo to our friends and we can't wait to go back. What a great price for our tropical vacation.

I was stayed in the condo in the month of August 2010. Be aware of descriptions in this page: THEY ARE NOT TRUE! In particular i just summurize in those few points below what I found at my arrival: - The village where the condo is located is “dormant”. A lot of houses are abandoned and that contributes to bring a lot of animals; - Internet is not available. I have tried to connect my PC but it does not work properly; - The near market and the first fuel station were a 15 mile far from the condo. The market in the village and in the Maunaloa city hasn’t primary food gender (such as cream cheese and so on); - The pool is not present! It is abandoned by years - We hadn’t the possibility to use BBQ because of the animals in the garden - we could not swim everywherebecuase of the condition of the ocean differently form the other island of HAWAII. - At the end the condo is not for four people but for only two. At the end notice that the owner is apparently a gentle person, but she is not. I hope that this review should be useful. Do not go in this CONDO. There a lot of condo more nice with pool near that, for example Ke nani kai that offers very good rates.

What a relaxing, wonderful vacation we had with our two grown daughters in March '07. We joked that every view on the island must be a postcard. When the whales are breeching- it's just breathtaking! We couldn't believe how beautiful Molokai is and how wonderful the people are who live there. I highly recommend Barbara and Cal's totally stocked, clean, comfortable home away from home!
