Accommodations: Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 2 Baths (Sleeps 6-8)
Keywords: Condo
Located on the quiet — and beautiful! — side of the Tetons, this recently-built first-floor condo (end unit) is furnished for special family times together.
Set up for comfortable living with cozy flannel sheets, comfy furniture and a fully stocked kitchen. The overall look is a wildlife-themed Western motif, including a large Aspen queen-size log bed in the master bedroom and a rustic "bunkhouse" feel to the kid-friendly bedroom (twin over full log bunkbeds). The guest bedroom has an iron-frame bed (queen), spacious closet and 20-inch TV/DVD/VCR.
The sun-filled living room features a warm suede couch (pulls out into queen sleeper), love seat, 42-inch plasma TV and VCR/DVD, Dish satellite and opens onto a deck with Big Hole Mountain views. There are also beautiful Teton views outside (not visible from inside). The two guest rooms also open to their own deck. There's a roomy detached garage where you'll find a gas BBQ grill, 3 bikes, tubes & sleds.
This is a world-class ski destination with Grand Targhee a short 15 miles away and Jackson Hole an easy hop over the pass. There are groomed cross-country trails nearby, as well as a great rental shop (Peaked Sports) and snowmobile outfitter (Teton Valley Adventures) nearby.
In summer, it's hard to beat the access to both Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, as well as some of the world's best fly fishing on Henry's Fork of the Snake River. The nearby ranger station can point you in the direction of awesome hiking and biking, and plenty of horseback operations can put you in the saddle. Several golf courses are nearby as well. The kids can ride the bikes to the nearby skateboard park. And everyone will enjoy a movie at "The Spud," a drive-in theater. We'll be happy to help you plan a wonderful vacation!

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2006
We're Steve, Jackie, Trey & CJ Smith. We live in Blue Ridge, GA, but love to travel out West! We own our own graphic design, copywriting and marketing business.
Why the Owner Chose Driggs
We LOVE the wild West! We traveled to the Jackson Hole area several times and fell in love with everything about the area. We chose Driggs because it was smaller and less crowded than Jackson Hole, but still close to everything. We also love skiing at Grand Targhee because it's very family friendly.
The Unique Benefits of this Condo
It's in a small but friendly town. It's close to everything. The condo is only a few years old and feels very comfortable -- just like home! At 1 mile from town, it's close to shopping, dining and activities.

The pictures and the description of this condo don't do it justice! Jackie and Steve have created an exquisite gem of a condo in one of the most scenic places in the country. The furniture and furnishings are just amazing-- some many special touches relating to moose and elk and the local scenery, and the beds are extremely comfortable. We really appreciated the beautiful china and cutlery, and it was great having all the condiments we needed for the small amount of cooking we did. It was one of the most comfortable and enjoyable stays we have ever had, and we would love to come back and enjoy it again.

PERFECT in every way! Quiet, comfy, roomy, clean, equipped with everything one would need away from home, and just as the description and pictures showed. We were there for my son's wedding at the Linn Canyon Ranch and having such a nice, convenient place to stay made our time in Driggs very relaxing and enjoyable. We would certainly recommend the Smith's digs in Driggs to friends and relatives. Great place and nice, helpful folks who own it.

Fun place to visit in the summer. GREAT condo, which was nice, clean and roomy. Easy access on ground level. Located right next to Huntsman Springs, which has an amazing golf course and fishing. Day trip to Yellowstone is long, but very worthwhile. Highly recommend to others - we will return again. Steve and Jackie are WONDERFUL to work with. Our family really enjoyed Driggs and the surrounding areas, and we were especially glad to return to such nice accommodations at the end of each day.

We just got back from Driggs ID where we skied Grand Targhee and we had a great vacation. This roomy property with all the extras (granite counter tops, his and her sinks, wireless internet and a large flat screen TV) was the perfect base for our 3 children, the grandparents and us. Driggs and Grand Targhee is the perfect gettaway for those tired of the overcrowded, over-priced, treat you like a number ski vacations in more renown locations. You know you've found a special place when the last day your 3 year old starts crying that she doesn't want to leave the mountains and go home. We'll be back either in the summer to hike the Tetons or canoe the Snake river or winter to ski our new favorite ski resort.

We have been to Targhee many times but always stayed up at the hill. We are so glad we decided to do something different! After staying at this beautiful condo we will never stay up at the hill again. Your 15 minutes away from Targhee but you don't have to deal with how busy the hill sometimes can feel. you truely feel like you are in your own world. The condo is amazing. we loved it for the same reason we love to ski targhee, it was designed for the family. Steve & Jackie couldn't have been any nicer to work with. When you are all done you feel like you have 2 new friends! Thank you for allowing our family to have such a wonderful vacation staying at your condo!

I was just thinking that I wanted to write you and tell you about our stay. it was a beautiful town and condo. We really appreciated the use of the bikes, cooler and chair. Our kids loved everything about it. Its location was central and the scenery was beautiful. Thanks for all the activity suggestions! We found a pile of maps on the counter and a trail book. We will think of you next time we visit the area . It will be a trip our family will never forget. Sincerely, The Cochrans
