We cater to Golfers and Shoppers-there is so much to do in Calabash for adults and kids.No need for a package here-do your own thing on your own time-two great breakfast & lunch places right down the block-the beach a five minute drive-The Calabash Creamery on the way back from the beach-and then later enjoy dinner at one of seven famous Calabash Seafood Resturants right there on the water.
If you like you have a choice of 100's of Resturants in a 15 minute drive-Seafood Buffets,Italian,Steakhouses,you name it they have it here and go to the Carolina Oprey or Alabama Theater ,Dolly Parton's Dixie Stampede-visit a great Aquarium and oh so much more.

Loved this place. It was great for a nice, quiet, uncomplicated vacation. It was exactly like it was depicted in the photos. The complex was relatively quiet the whole week. The permanent residence were welcoming to us as vacation renters. The owners were gems to work with and we had a blast meeting them as we were leaving. We will defiantly book this place again. If you like something that feels off the beaten path (but really isnt) and like a home away from home...this is the rental for you. Sunset beach is a mere 8 min drive. North Myrtle Beach is 15 min.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, people with disabilities, sightseeing.

The location of this unit is fantastic. Calabash is wonderful. Great food and easy drive to Myrtle Beach. I would not call this a "Resort." It is more like apartments with a community pool. There is no security on the grounds at night or anytime on the weekends. There are permanent government funded tenants that enjoy partying in the parking lot all night. Area residents have found a way in the pool area and use it freely, lots of them. The unit itself is very spacious and comfortable for adults, but it is not child friendly. All tables are glass and the tub has a glass enclosure. This is a very good example of "you get what you pay for." I would not recommend this unit to a family. Maybe some single guys on a golf trip.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers.

Upon arriving at our condo we were pleased to find it to be exactly as the pictures represented it to be. We stayed a week and felt comfortable and secure the entire stay. The entire process was simply and uncomplicated. We will definitely consider renting this condo again in the future and will recommend it to others.
Owner response: We have been members of vrbo for four years and have had great success in renting our Condo.The people writing this review are doing so because based on excessive damage in the unit which could have only been caused from inside, were refused return of their security deposit.We have rented to Families,Golfers,and Shoppers and never received a bad review or had any complaints.The unit is very child friendly being on the first floor.Also good for people who have problems with steps. There are glass shower doors in each bathroom and yes there is a thick glass dining room table.To date we have had no problems.There is a security guard on duty 24/7 .As far as government rentals I know our units are all individually owned. I believe this is an attempt by the tenant to hamper my rental history .I have pictures to prove the damage was done from the inside and no one else was in the unit except this tenant who is responsible for the unit.We had to replace the front door and a bedroom door which were damaged beyond repair. I welcome reviews of our Condo but this was just meant to be damaging. This is the first time in four years I have withheld any security and it has been a very smooth with all our tenants.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children.
