These are Kim's word from the comments she posted on my Homeaway.com/174261 site. "I chose this condo because I was moving to Oahu and had never been here before. (Well I fell in love with the town, got a job and moved a building over.) it offers fresh organic foods from the farmer's market, close to Haleiwa (surf town) with many wonderful hole in the wall restaurants. The condo is wonderful. I couldn't decide if I wanted to sleep in the bedroom or on the futon to listen to the waves as I fell asleep. The neighborhood is safe, clean and very friendly. This property is very clean, comfortable, airy, wonderful views and restaurants, things to do & see. Darlene is just wonderful, booking was simple and quick with the refund check. The condo had everything I needed for cooking, baking and even a grill on the patio for grilling locally caught fish. The water infront of the unit is so shallow that snorkling is easy and I saw so many sea turtles I lost count. So bring your snorkel pack or go to any local store and they will have them. I would suggest you purchase your fish from the men selling it from the back of their pick up trucks! You can't beat the freshness, price and flavor. I would HIGHLY recommed this condo to anyone wishing to get out of the hussle and bussle life of the busy city, yet close enough you can still get into town. This place is a fantastic value. We've stayed in many places in Hawaii over the years and this is the best. it has a beautiful view of the ocean right from the living room, which is a rare and usually expensive feature. The beach is world class and about a two minute walk from the door. This place is beautifully furnished and has great kitchen and bath finishes in granite and marble and high quality equipment throughout. you won't need to bring anything but swim suits. The grill on the roof is great and we used it a lot. The building is a nice mix of older and younger folks and everyone is very fiendly. It's located in a very quiet neighborhood away from crowds and traffic. We found it to be a perfect base for exploring the island. Hard to find a nicer place to stay in Hawaii at any price..

I dont know where to start. We moved here. After arriving here with only 12 suitcases, (10 were my girlfriends:-) I thought we were going to need to buy a lot of things right away, but because this place was so well stocked, we saved money from the get-go. The feeling you get when you first arrive is that equal to a shade tree on a hot day with a glass of ????? Oh ya, its that good! Our stay existed of 5 weeks and this condo was perfect. The furniture, fixtures, and electronics are tasteful and modern, the bed is comfortable as well as the futon, the condo is also very spacious. The patio is welcoming as well as relaxing and you have good views of the ocean. From the front, you have the beautiful Waianae mountain range that will take your breath away. I could go on forever, but im sure you get the picture.In addition, this was the smoothest and easiest transition we have ever experienced. There is much more here than what you see. Seriously.......We moved here.

We had a fabulous time and this place was Awesome, more than we expected and everything we hoped for. We enjoyed the rooftop BBQ and views as well as the beach, It felt like everything had been thought of in the unit. From the beech chairs to the nice quality cooking items. (it is never fun to cook with cheep pans)…. The snorkeling was great fun and swimming with the turtles. The last day we went out and saw 6 turtles. Our 8 year old grabbed onto one of the shells and swam with it. It was so nice being out of the city and seeing the farm land and local culture. Thank you for letting us enjoy a little piece of Paradise.(WARNING - Don't shop the IGA in Haleiwa. The store across the street is much better)

We returned home this morning and wanted to let you know we had a fantastic, relaxing stay at your Mokuleia Sands condo. It was everything we expected and more. We walked on the beach everyday, enjoyed the warm water, watched the surfers and soaked in the sun. The location was perfect. We made one big food run on our first day to Costco, then bought a few necessities at Foodland and the local Haleiwa grocery store throughout our stay. Thank you for letting us stay a few extra hours, it made it so much easier.

We had a great time staying at the condo in October. It is in great location, 5 minutes to Haleiwa with all its shops and restaurants, 10-15 minutes to all the North Shore Beaches and easy access to the Highway to Honolulu. It also has a great local beach across the street with good swimming and snorkeling. We actually swam with 4 sea turtles during our stay. The condo itself has all new kitchen supplies and has been recently remodeled. Highly recommended.

What a Memoriable Experience!! You can SEE the Ocean Right from the Lanai! Simply Beautiful~We Spent 5 Nights at this Vacation Rental & will be Returning Next Year! Very Comfortable, made us feel like North Shore Locals. Close to Everything! Right in the Heart of Surf Country! This place had Everything we Needed, We Ended our Evenings taking in the Sunset across the Street at a Peaceful Beach, followed by a Hot Bubble Bath! We Only Recommend this Rental & KNOW you will Appreciate the Accomidations & Low Cost~ A+++ 10 Stars!! Y ou CAN NOT Get a Better Deal than here!
