Photo 1 - Vancouver Island Vacation Our oceanfront holiday home, BUOY-O-BUOY, is located just south of the 49th Parallel and mid-way between the quaint seaside towns of Chemainus and Ladysmith on the east side of Vancouver Island. BUOY-O-BUOY is five minutes from two marinas, and just one and a half hours north of Victoria. The home has a low bank leading to a beach with soft sand, small pebbles and sea shells. The beach varies in size (12.8 foot tides) and provides an attractive place for long strolls. This bright, north facing home has beautiful 180-degree views of the ocean, mountains and surrounding islands.
