Delightful, relaxing peaceful beach vacation spot! This four bedroom, three bath non-smoking home has loads of room for the family and pets to unwind in, with all the conveniences of home. High speed wireless internet is available on site. The home is cheerfully decorated in vibrant colors and tones. Comfortable sleeping space for up to 13 people.
There are two entries to the main level which consists of a large family room, dining area and full kitchen. The kitchen is fully equipped with all the comforts of home. Granite countertops and bar stools provide ample area for food preparation and additional eating space. There is a washer dryer, full bath and queen bedroom on this level as well as a sofa sleeper in the living room.
The second level has a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed, private balcony and large bathroom. There are two additional bedrooms and full bath on this level. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds with a trundle. The tower room (third level) has a queen sleeper sofa and wet bar. There are ceiling fans in all rooms and delightful cross ventilation throughout the house. There is an outside shower to clean the beach sand off.
Old Florida Village is a new neighborhood of 60 plus cottage style homes. The neighborhood is professionally landscaped and maintained. There are two community pools a short walk from our house. The beach is about 500 yards away - an easy walk or bike ride. The beach is one of the finest in North America! One visit and you will agree. Sugar white sands, uncrowded and watched over by lifeguards and beach patrol. There is a bike/walking path very close to the house that goes for miles. Convenient bike rentals nearby. The path will take you to the beach communities of Blue Mountain Beach, Grayton Beach, Seaside, all the way to Rosemary Beach.
Family friendly fun activities abound close to the house. There are a variety of wonderful restaurants to match any budget or taste within a short drive on 30-A. There is a large supermarket and excellent fresh seafood store a short drive if you want to stay at home after a day at the beach. Santa Rosa Beach is a short 10 minute drive to Silversands, the largest factory outlet mall in the country as well as all the family activities of Sandestin/Destin. Shopping, movie theatres, water parks, miniature golf, go karts, fishing, outdoor music venues and more all within easy reach.
