Buddha said that when you can see 100 shades of green, you have truly reached heaven. This is the feeling you will have at our beautiful tropical paradise nestled in the Wainiha River Valley. Lush vegetation - palm trees, banana trees, flowering ginger, jasmine, ti, even orchids surround you on the property. It is truly a spot in the jungle away from all the cares of the outside world and yet with all the amenities and comforts of a modern, wonderful home.
The house itself is quite new, private, comfortable, and reflective of the sensibilities of its artist-owners. Indoors or out you will have plenty of space and comfort. The master suite on the second floor is 600 square feet and has its own tub, shower, lanai, and even a fireplace. Downstairs are two more good-size bedrooms with new bamboo flooring, full bath, a large open living room, complete kitchen, and dining area. And a view of Wainiha Mountain from practically every room.
Walk up the street for a walk back in time like much of Kauai used to be. Or stare out at Wainiha Mountain, Jurassic Park-like vegetation, listen to the beautiful white rumped sharma singing, the rushing river, lounge or dine on the large lanais, swing in the hammock, relax in the hot tub, watch the banana leaves unfurl... you may never want to leave 100 Shades of Green at all. Yet just down the road, only a few miles away are Tunnels and Ke'e Beaches, two of the most beautiful and special on all Kauai; in the other direction, Lumihai Beach and the quaint town of Hanalei with its restaurants, shopping, and perfectly shaped crescent bay. |
