This rustic little cabin"camp"is located among the pines, overlooking lovely Beech Hill Pond, in Otis, Maine. Beech Hill is a crystal clear, spring-fed lake & very popular with those who love to fish, swim, go boating & skiing or just enjoy the quiet beauty while canoeing or kayaking, listening for the call of the Loons. Beech Hill sports many varieties of fish including: Salmon, Trout, Tongue and Bass. You can fish from our private dock or rent a small fishing boat and motor. Enjoy the camp experience, roasting marshmallows, or hot dogs on the open campfire, or prepare a delicious meal in our newly remodeled kitchen.
Take a walk, read a book or just sit by the water and breathe in the clean fresh air. Go site-seeing in nearby Acadia National Park in Bar Harbor, offering whale watching or a walk along the ocean shore. Shopping, movies, museums and Airport is just 30-45 minutes away. Summer time is lots of fun, but you can also join us in the fall and experience a dazzling array of color.
Fishing season will end Sept.30th. But, the beautiful foliage is worth the visit. You can keep track of the foliage times by watching the Weather Channel. |
