Vacations by the Sea is the premier vacation resort on the Washington Coast. Located just steps from 18 miles of pristine beaches in Westport, we offer one and two bedroom oceanfront and ocean view condominium units. Because our beach condos are individually owned and decorated, they have all the personal touches that will make your stay special. You and your family will love the amazing views, private decks, spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer in each unit, and friendly onsite staff! Many of our units include premium features such as stainless steel kitchen appliances, granite countertops, electric fireplaces, jetted tubs, and vaulted ceilings. All of our units are now furnished with WIFI for guest use.
Many of our units are pet friendly so feel free to bring along your furry companion with the family.
Included with your stay at Vacations by the Sea is complete access to all the amenities the property offers. These include a large hot tub, heated swimming pool, and well equipped exercise center located on site for your use. In addition, there is a playground for the little noes, a basketball court, a large grassy play-field for pickup games of flag football or volleyball, putting green, and horse shoe pit.

- Vacations by the Sea is at the center of many beach activities. With the best waves north of California, surfing is a huge part of our community. We can recommend great surfing instructions and shops to rent everything you need to give it a try. Whale watching is also a popular attraction during certain times of the year. Gray whales have been seen quite frequently a few hundred yards in front of Vacations by the Sea units with many guests watching them from their balconies. With each passing tide, new and interesting items can wash up on shore for the lucky beach comber to find. With 18 miles of sandy beaches to explore steps from your front door, get an early start to find your treasure. Birding is always popular on the South Beach with major flyways crossing over. Numerous species stop and rest in the area on their way south or north depending on the seasons. A walk along the lighthouse dune trail can lead to many wonderful sightings and sounds.

In addition to all the amenities available in your beach vacation unit is total access to everything our property has to offer. This includes a large hot tub, heated seasonal swimming pool, and well equipped exercise center. There is also a large grassy play-field for pickup games of volleyball or flag football, a basketball court, putting green, and playground for the little ones. Rest a while on one of the many park benches to watch the activities or just soak up the sunshine.
Enjoy a stroll or bike ride along 2.5 miles of paved trail through the dunes and grass to Westhaven State Park or continue on to the Marina District. The trail starts steps away from Vacations by the Sea and is perfect for all ages.
One of the Best spots to surf or just to watch, easy access by car or via foot along the dune trail.
Not California but beautiful with tons of agates to be found by the dedicated hunter. A popular location for kite surfers on windy days.

From here south is considered Washaway beach where changing tides has washed away several square miles of a community called North Cove. Tides and sands are treacherous so only explore during low tide and be respectful of property still be occupied.

I could rise early and take my dogs to the ocean in two minutes. What could be better than that? Clean, safe, quiet and beautiful. Worth the money too.

Check in was fast, easy and pleasant. The unit was spotless, well appointed, comfortable and more than we hoped for. The setting is beautiful, grounds well kept. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

My family stayed here over Valentines Day weekend and it was lovely. The beach really is *right* outside, steps from the patio. We were able to bring our lab, Suzie, with us, and she loved running on the beach with the kids. The condo was super clean. We cooked most of the time in the kitchen, which was bigger than our greenlake townhouse kitchen!

We got some unexpected time off work and decided to check out Westport, as I had not visited there since a fishing trip long ago. I was surprised at how nice this condo was, and the whole complex as well. The ocean views are amazing, and made for some great storm and wave watching. We are looking forward to going back this summer!
