Shelling and the search for shark's teeth occupy many on the beaches- the closest about 5 minutes drive away. It is about an hour's drive to well-known major shelling locations on the Gulf at Sanibel and Captiva Islands.
Good shopping and cultural activities are available in Venice and Sarasota.
