Nestled in the small town of Kilauea, our home with the privacy you want on your vacation, and luxurious accommodations you can expect from a home of a proud builder, where very careful attention was given to every fine detail when building this house, to make this house give optimal beauty, and comfort, and privacy to his guests.

The private suite features king size bed, a private lanai, TV, phone and a wet bar with a fridge and coffee maker. The suite has its own private large bathroom with 100+ gallon Jacuzzi tub (for 2 or more), 7x 9 ft. stall shower with dual shower heads.

Also available for you is a fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer. There is a living room area with balcony overlooking the beautiful town of Kilauea.
We have wireless Internet access, 2 surf boards, and a handful of boogie boards which are free to use.

We are located on a quite street on the 2 way cul-de-sac. The neighborhood is kid friendly, and quite.

We are located in Kilauea which is prime location of the island... we are in the north shore & minutes away from Secret beach, Anini beach, Princeville golf course and minutes from shopping, and numerous outdoor activities (zip line, surfing, snorkeling). only 15 min 4m Kapaa

  • We stayed in this suite in April 2009 and we were very comfortable. The suite is nearly in new condition and the owner Iris was very accommodating. Iris was very hospitable and I truly enjoyed meeting her and her family. I would very much recommend this suite for your stay. The price that Iris is offering, is well worth your money and much more comfortable than any hotel or motel room can offer you. She has every detail planned out with her thoughtfulness. From towels, shampoo, even beautiful local Hawaiian flowers that greeted us upon our arrival. Talk about going out of your way, she even thought enough to bring us a DVD player with DVDs to entertain my young children. I have no complaints whatsoever! Just in general a five star experience!

  • We were 3 girls on a budget, and found this place to be really worth the price. Not mentioning the amenities and the proximity to the beach, Iris and her family were very friendly and accommodating. We had a good stay, and would recommend it.

  • As a traveling artist I spent 3 nights here because of referal and central location on the NE side of Kaui. Absolutely great location and a special place to stay thanks to Iris' help and her husband's terrific building skills. I have recommended to painting, birding, and beach going friends.

  • The stay was very pleasant and the house and room were clean and decorated nicely. The price was also good for the quality of accomodations. It is a good place to stay if you plan to go to the beach frequently or have activities planned during the day as there are not many on-site amenities, however it is a very nice room to come back to at a great price.

  • We stayed in one of the four bedrooms of this great vacation home. Just like they promised, we got to enjoy a in-room jacuzzi and wi-fi internet access (our main demands). Iris was super nice, and even forgave us for losing their keys while hiking (doh!). Overall, a great experience and less expensive than staying in a resort.

  • Malulani is located in a nice residential neighborhood, an easy walk or drive to shopping and restaurants in Kilauea. The rooms are clean, new, comfortable, and the jacuzzi perfect after a long hike to Hanakapi'ai Falls. Kilauea is in a great spot to explore the many fine beaches and sights on the North Shore. The communal kitchen (shared among the four rooms) might not be to everybody's taste, but we appreciated meeting other guests and getting tips about things to do. Mahulani was easy to find even after a long plane trip from Alaska, and it's an easy drive (20 minute drive) from Lihue. For visitors who don't need a place right on the beach, but a short drive away, it's the perfect base to explore the North Shore. You don't need an overpriced Princeville condo.

  • I stayed her for 9 days and Loved it. It was way better than the place I stayed at 6 months ago when I was there. Iris the owner was so accomodating. Anything you need most likely she will have for you so thats awesome. The suite was so spacious from the bathroom to the closet space.. I will defenitely stay here again on my next trip.. Cant wait... Mahalo!!!!
