If you are visiting Paso Robles and the surrounding areas, I'd highly recommend seeing if the farmhouse at HammerSky is available. This turn-of-the-century farmhouse has been wonderfully renovated (the owner-provided photos in the listing are accurate) and is set on a picturesque vineyard. We stayed with close friends and found the location peaceful and the house is great! Kim and her team are friendly, helpful and very responsive. They get the little "details" right -- the gift that was awaiting us upon arrival being just one example. Kim and her team were also very responsive when an item in the house needed repair during our stay. One thing to consider if you have small children (we do): the house is two stories and (obviously) has a staircase connecting the floors. We'd suggest bringing a gate to block off the stairs from wandering kids. Overall can't say enough good things about this house, its owners, or their team.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, pet owners.

hat a phenomenal time we had at Hammersky…thank you so much for sharing your slice of heaven. The views were unbelievable, the home itself breathtaking (as you round Vineyard Drive…it just sits perfectly perched on those vineyards and really takes your breath away). Hammersky is centrally located…right next to EVERYTHING we most wanted to do…L’Aventure, Tablas Creek, Pasolivo, Farmstand 46…and just a little way from Artisan and Thomas Hill Organics. I hope we can come back! The home was so tastefully decorated and gorgeous!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1

I wanted you to know how much we enjoyed HammerSky! You have done such an incredible job of restoring the house. It has such a comfortable feeling and yet it is decorated so beautifully. On my arrival as I went through each room it was very exciting as each room was so unique and had its own personality but it all comes together so wonderfully. The setting of the home leads to amazing views in all directions. It is truly a magical feeling being at HammerSky and I can’t thank you enough. It set the tone for a fabulous wedding weekend for us.Thanks again for everything!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: The HammerSky property was built in 1904. A recent renovation completed in 2007 is a representation of our vision for HammerSky. We want the history to come through as the structure and all the rest to be fun and shared. When we saw the property for sale in 2007 it had all the things on our list we had been looking for for the past 12 years. We love the winemaking experience but it is really the land, good food, good wine and good friends that make the 'Vineyard living Experience'.
Why the Owner Chose Paso Robles:
Paso Robles is beautiful. The history of the property, the vineyard the rolling hills and century old oak trees. The wineries and dining.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Peace. The owls howling at night, the cows grazing in the meadow, great food and wine. The simplicity that we can enjoy in life. Life on a vineyard, and even experience what it is like to have your own tasting room
