We stayed at this property mid January to mid February. It was perfect for us and another couple stayed with us for one week and plenty of room to share. This home is just as described and the owner was very helpful with all of our questions. It is a 3 block walk to the beach and a mile from downtown and many attractions. I liked the enclosed lanai with wicker furniture and there was a grill outside. We used the washer and although the dryer did not work we hung everything outside on the line and it dried nicely. There is one full bathroom in the home and one outside for use after having been to the beach.Recommended for: Girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, age 55+.

We travel to the west coast of Florida each holiday to spend a week with family and enjoy the holidays. We even get to bring our 9 year old dog - it would be the holidays without her. The rental house is close to all our family as it's in a great central location on the Island. The house is walkable to the beach (which is great for morning runs) and a very short drive to Venice Avenue (for Kilwin's Ice Cream after dinner). The house is very clean and stocked with everything you might need. Our Nephews had a sleepover one night and we were thrilled to find the beach pails for morning shell collecting. This rental home has become our home away from home each holiday - Already booked for the 2011 holiday - can't wait!!Recommended for: People with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, age 55+.
