The instructions from Josh about arrival and departure were clear, accurate and helpful. The home was perfect: clean, comfortable and well equipped with every amenity that we needed. It smelled good, the bed was comfortable, the sheets were good quality, there were enough towels and also good quality. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare breakfast and dinner in the apartment. The sofa was comfy and the TV was great to have. The location was perfect, there are great restaurants and a movie theater within walking distance, not to mention the some of the countries most historic sites. We took the subway to a Phillies ballgame with out any problem. It is really a perfect place to stay in Philadelphia. One word of warning, do not park your car for one minute on the street without paying the parking fee, there is someone on foot out there who will ticket you in a heartbeat.to Philly. Try this place, you won't regret!!

Nice Place To Stay

I was really stressed out in the past 2 weeks, and finally get a weekend off, so I decided to go somewhere to relax and enjoy myself. I looked everywhere online, and I finally found this place on Home away.com,, which is affordable and at great location in Philly. I decided to give it a try. I am really glad that I gave a try, this condo is not only beautiful ( brick house with nice wood floor), , but convience ( it has everything you can think of - include free wifi, refrigerator, microwave, nice big plasma TV, dinnng table and etc). Don't even mentioned the clean folded towel in the bathroom, it totally like a 5 star hotel ( believe me, I travel to almost 20 countries up to now, this is the best I had!) I would recommend this place for anyone who need a business trip or family trip to Philly. Try this place, you won't regret!!

Nice Place To Stay

The spot was perfect, and I really appreciate the attention of the owners when I needed to contact them on a couple of occasions. I broke the coffee pot on the granite counter (oops!) and a new one was by the front door the next morning! Great service! Comfortable, well equipped and good value. Nice neighbourhood and great access to public transit. Great dining in the area and lots to do. If you are in to art, check out the Barnes Collection and the Rodin Museum. All good!

Very Unique and Cool Apartment

This place was cool. The brick and the harwood floors were amazing, really neat space and nicely decorated, (even had a washer dryer). Location was close to all the historic sites and the building was safe.

Terrific urban way to experience Philly

Condo was very comfortable and in a perfect location for walking almost everywhere we wanted to go. We took public transportation only to art museums and to ballpark. Grocery, wine, and drug stores all within easy walking distance.

Had a wonderful long weekend in Philly at this great apartment. It was in a perfect location with lots of restaurants and transportation nearby. The apartment was well set up and had everything we needed. The building was good and we met some very nice neighbors. Would certainly stay here again. Great place.

Fun family visit to Philadelphia

Travelled to Philadelphia to visit family, and wanted a safe, clean place to stay, close to restaurants and fun things to do for our kids, ages 5 and 9. We got a CityPass (which included the Philadelphia Zoo, Franklin Institute, Academy of Natural Sciences, Aquariam, a double decker bus tour and more) and were within a 10 to 15 minute drive to everything. The restaurants (Turkish, Afgani, Indian, tapas...) on the street below this condo are delicious -- we ordered take-out many nights after returning exhausted with the kids. The condo is within walking distance of many interesting sights, and is in the "Olde City" area -- you can imagine the horses trotting down the stone streets, pre-automobile. The condo itself was perfect for the 4 of us, and the kitchen was clean and fully equipped with large frig, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc. There was also a conveniently located washer and dryer in the bedroom closet. Two Whole Foods Markets are within a 10 to 20 minute drive. We made use of the many guide books left for us to peruse, and decided on a CityPass that we were able to nearly fully use over the course of the week. Parking, though not cheap, is available right behind the building. We could park on a floor that we could actually see our car from our condo window. We would stay there again when visiting Philadelphia, for sure.

Great location, close to restaurants and historic sites. Owner was very responsive to questions, and made it extremely easy to get into the condo on our arrival day. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Although there were no real walls separating the parts of the condo, the bed and trundle bed accommodated four adults.

Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

We were visiting Philadelphia to see family for Christmas and stayed for week. The condo proved an excellent place to stay with lots of space for my wife, 7 year old son, and I. The space is very attractive and having the full kitchen and washer/dryer was wonderful (there is also a hair dryer and ironing board). The condo was very nicely kept and looks as good or better than the pictures represent. The historic sites were literally just steps away; Penn's Landing is right outside the door, Christ Church and Franklin Court are only a block away, a couple more blocks to Carpenter's Hall and Independence Hall and we also found it easy to walk to the museum district and the Reading Terminal Market (a must see - we had a couple of wonderful dinners courtesy of the various shops in the market such as By George's, where we bought fresh pasta and meatballs which we cooked up at the condo and a bake at home stromboli. We also bought some great breakfast sausage and maple syrup from the Pennsylvania Dutch market, as well as fudge, fresh fruit, etc). The condo's owner recommended the car sharing service, Zipcar, which proved very useful when we were traveling out of the city to see family and to visit the Delaware Art Museum (another neat area attraction, as is the Brandywine Museum). There are all sorts of places to eat within easy walking distance, as well as a variety of markets. Public transportation and the Zipcar cars are also very accessible. We had a great visit and I would highly recommend this condo as a place to stay when visiting Philadelphia!

I spent 5 days in the condo and felt very comfortable and safe, excellent security at building entry. I thought it was even nicer than the photos. Very nice kitchen with everything supplied. Excellent location for historical sites. Great neighborhood, very quiet during the day, more festive (some street noise but not too bad) on the weekend nights. Quick 2 minute walk to subway. One negative is no view but great quiet 5th floor apt.with excellent sunlight during day.

We haven't stayed in many vacation rentals and this was a very nice change from hotels. It was clean, very comfy, and was in a great neighborhood. We spent a few days walking around independence park and were able to come back and rest in the condo during the day. Really worked well for the family.

Came into town for a trade show at the convention center and this worked out perfectly for me. It was a short walk to the convention center or a 5 dollar cab or I one day I took the subway which was very easy. I think it was the second stop. Got on it one block from the flat. I will definitly be contacting you again when I am back in phildelphia. Cheers

This condo was absolutely perfect! My husband and I had a great weekend getaway. I would recommend the condo to anyone coming to visit Philadelphia. Great location to walk around and do some sightseeing. It was also easy to hop on the subway, take a taxi, or walk up to center city and Reading Terminal. Thanks for making us feel at home!

We stayed in this unit for 4 nights and loved the convenient location, the spotless condition of the condo and the washer and dryer in the unit. This will be our home away from home when we come to visit our daughter. The historic Philadelphia and plenty of nice restaurants are right there. You can walk to everything.

Condo was great - fully furnished and very clean. Location couldn't be better with many historic attractions within a few blocks, lots of dining options and public transportation very close by. We're definitely staying here again. For future travelers - there's a little grocery and a liquor store just one block away.

This loft and its location couldn't have been more ideal for our Philadelphia visit. The atmospheres of both loft and neighborhood were exactly what we were looking for. Very convenient for excellent restaurants, shopping, and historical sites. Plus, all within walking distance. We're definitely staying here again.

My husband and I stayed in this condo last spring and we just loved it! Our time in Philadelphia was so much fun! The condo is located in a terrific area for going out to eat or have drinks, and it was very convenient to public transportation. We didn't even need to have a car for the entire week. I would absolutely recommend staying here, and I will hopefully return one day myself!
