This exquisitely set panoramic view apartment is on a small tree-lined non-vehicular lane called "Priest Street" on the highest point on fashionable Nob Hill near the center of San Francisco, with only 5 small buildings, lovely fern gardens and quietness. The apartment is located on the top floor of my 3 story building with trees on one side, and the other side having a full on, unobstructed view of the Golden Gate Bridge, the San Francisco Bay with lots of boats and the occasional cruise ship and The Palace of Fine Arts. There is also a beautiful fern garden that is outside the bedroom window.
Besides the incredible view, the master bedroom (on the tree lined side) is like an exquisite, very contemporary suite overlooking the fern garden and under the mature tree branches. The bedroom has a large bay window with tree branches and morning sunlight filtering through. The bed is a European 19th Century Antique bed that is a King Size. The bed is clothed with beautiful 800 count pure cotton sheets and the palette is burnt orange, black, white and charcoal. The duvets and pillows are down and the entire bedroom is custom designed with only pure cotton, wool and linen. There is also a chaise lounge in the bay window of the bedroom which is suitable for a child or an adult to sleep on. There is incredible artwork by well known California artist Gustavo Rivera in the bedroom. There are incredible art objects throughout the apartment and there is a great photographic collection.
The kitchen has everything you need and is very charming and well equipped. The living room is beautiful with great artwork and a working wood burning fireplace. The furniture palate is cream, green and oatmeal. The view from the living room is spectacular. There are many white orchids throughout the apartment. The apartment has great water pressure with updated plumbing.
The location could not be better as the apartment is within walking distance of everywhere, so you do not need a car. Grace Cathedral is just 2 blocks away as are the well known Nob Hill hotels such as The Huntington, The Fairmont and The Mark Hopkins. There are many great restaurants in the neighborhood. The Ferry Building and Financial Dist are a 10 minute walk as is Jackson Square, for antiques. Fort Mason (Fall Antique Show and Art Fair) is a 15 minute walk. Great shopping streets such as Filmore and Union are a 15 minute walk. Polk St, which great stores and restaurants, is a 7 minute walk.
There is a flat screen Cable TV (which can be attached to your laptop),a HP laser printer and scanner for the business travellor, who all love the quiet environment combined with the view. There is also wireless internet connection. Also the apartment is great for a small family on vacation. The setting, the location, the luxury, the peace and the view can all be yours.
