Snow in October

My husband and I attended family weekend at Bard College at the end of October. We were surprised by a snow storm that actually took out the electric for a while at the apartment. The owners, Tanya and Brad, were fantastic, cleaning the walk way, letting us put our car in their garage and actually inviting us to stay at their place if the electric did not come back on. The electric did come back on and we were able to enjoy this wooded retreat with a snowy winter backdrop. Beautiful and relaxing setting in any season we would definately recommend Arborcrest.

My boyfriend and I loved this place. It is spacious and set up beautifully. Kitchen was really well set up and stocked. Everything super clean and the lights were on dimmers which I liked. The view we woke up to was incredible - pure forest. The owners were super nice and helpful. Everyone is saying 55+ which is definitely true, however, we are in our 20s and loved it!! It's like five minutes from the main Rhinebeck intersection. Loads of site seeing, restaurants, music, etc nearby. Highly recommended and looking forward to going back!

Exceeding our Expectations

After a few busy weeks at work, my husband and I were looking for a place to relax away from the city, but not TOO far away. Arborcrest met all our needs and exceeded our expectations! The house is spacious and perfectly equipped. Brad and Tanya managed to be gracious hosts while also giving us total privacy. We drank our morning coffee on the deck, practiced yoga in the sun, and watched the sun's rays filtering through the trees in the evening. The view is just beautiful! We felt completely rejuvenated when we left and we're already talking about returning here sometime in the near future.

Perfect Mid Hudson River Valley Location

This guest house was spacious and comfortable for us as a couple visiting from California. The host, welcomed us, gave us wonderful tips on attractions and amenities, then left us in privacy for the rest of the week. Rhinebeck is charming. But, because Rhinebeck is located right in the middle of the Hudson River Valley, this also made a perfect base for visiting sites both north and south. We even took the train from nearby Rhinecliff and spent a day in Manhattan. "Must see" attractions such as the Roosevelt Historical sites, the Culinary Institute of America, the Walkway Over the Hudson, and lots of great hiking are all within 10 miles. Thanks to the host and hostess for one of the best vacations we've ever had.
