This house is perfect. It is gorgeous inside with plenty of room and is within walking distance from the hot springs and several great places to eat! We are so impressed with this house that we definitely would like to come back again next year!!!!

We really enjoyed staying at the Main Street Cottage. It was close enough to stores and restaurants that we could walk and enjoyed doing so in the evenings after skiing at Wolf Creek. The only complaint (not really a complaint, just a suggestion) the couples who slept in the two bedrooms other than the master suite were really wishing there was a television in their room to watch when they all retired to their suite or when getting ready in the morning to see the weather. Overall, we were delighted and would stay again if our group was small enough for the house. The owner was very accessible and helped us with any questions we had. House was adorable and very clean.

What a great place! It's everything it says it is on the internet and more. Livia, you were very accomodating and understanding in our change of plans. We came up from New Mexico and my sister came from Cortez and we met halfway to stay here. All our kids were right at home and it was a very relaxing and fun family weekend. We will definitely be back!

This is our 1st visit to Pagosa and we feel so fortunate to have found this house. It was perfect for the 6 of us. The town was easy to get around. The restaurant choices were great. Originally, we were looking for something in Durango but Pagosa kept coming up in my search. I am so glad I followed my gut and booked this house. The sites and trails were great, Pagosa is a great secret! Thank you so much.

We couldn't have asked for a place better suited for our ski trip. The location was perfect. A short walk to dinner and live entertainment in the evening and great coffee and breakfast in the morning. After getting a feel for Pagosa Springs we wouldn't have wanted to be anywhere else in town. The house is perfectly appointed with all the comforts of home and then some. It exceeded all of our expectations. Thanks for making our trip that much better!!!

Our (my husband and I)stay in this beautifulhome was everything we hoped for. The owners had not spared a detail---It was clean, wonderfully decorated, convenient to everything, and oh so comfortable! We had a nice stay here. The house is really nice and clean. It's an easy walk to downtown and the hot springs unless there's a lot of snow and ice, otherwise it's a short drive. The two beds upstairs were very comfortable, however there were 4 coupes in our party and the sleeper sofa mattress was VERY uncomfortable and the downstairs bed was not nearly as comfortable as the two upstairs. Overall, I would recommend this place, but not for a party of 8.

Owner response:All of our previous comments about our beds have been very positve. The Main Street Cottage has a King size Sleep Number bed in the master suite. The other two bedrooms both have Queen size pillow top mattresses. As noted on our site, the sofa in the living room folds out to only a double.

Aug. 2009: Loved your home. With 2 teen boys the layout was just like home. We were able to walk everywhere and Farrago's became "boys go get something next door" eatery. Excellent food. Clean and comfortable. Thank you so much for allowing to vacation in your home.

This property is excellent. Even better than portrayed . We stayed a week here with two other couples. The house is arranged so that everyone had a bath and private space.... The location is best in Pagosa....much for all ages to do within walking distance. We would highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Home and Perfect Location

We spent the week with 2 other couples at this property. It is immaculate in every way, and stocked with everything needed from kitchen essentials to internet hookup. The beds are so comfortable! Besides being a first class house, what attracted us most to rent this property is the location. You can walk to any downtown store or restaurant, you can walk with a tube to the river (behind the Conoco), and you can walk to the Hot Springs in 5 minutes or less. We met the owners, Bob and Livia, and they are lovely people. You will not be disappointed if you stay in the Main Street Cottage.

We just returned from a week-long stay at this property, and were not ready to leave. Everything was perfect and just as described on the website. The beds are so comfy!!! The place was spotless, and everything in working order. Many things to do and see nearby, with the Hot Springs, a playground, the downtown area, and many great restaurants within walking distance. I would recommend this property to anyone. It was all we hoped for, and the price seems great compared to what you would get for the same money at a hotel.
