Your Dominican Republic Vacation: Ahh, paradise! Our lovely condo is new and will make your stay in Cabarete a most enjoyable one. When staying at Royal Residence, Room 130 you have the best of both worlds. You get the freedom of staying at a condo but enjoy the amenities of a hotel. The staff will change your sheets and clean your room to your liking depending on how often you'd like them to.
Our location is outstanding being in what could be considering the heart of Cabarete. You can walk to the beach in 3 minutes (I've timed it :D), or hit the restaurants and bars in 4 minutes. You've got the whole town at your doorstep. It is surrounded by other condo complexes so you have a good level of security, plus the food store is next door so anything you'd need can be picked up in seconds. There is a BPD bank across the street for cash access via the ATM.
Overall, it is a great place to stay whether you are a first time visitor or this is one of your many return trips (if this is your first time, don't worry, you'll be back!). Cabarete is a great little beach town with cool restaurants and shops. The beach is outstanding for relaxing, windsurfing and kiteboarding. Soft sand and warm waves will make you forget all about wherever you call home :)...and isn't that the point of a good vacation? There is tons to do or nothing at all, it's really up to you. Personally, I like to get caught up in some beach volleyball while meeting some new characters (last time is was Brits and Dutchies, wonder who will be there next time :) So, kick back, relax and enjoy your stay at Royal Residence, Room 130.

Fun in Cabarete

I recently got back from a vacation to the Dominican Republic with 5 other friends. We stopped in Cabarete and stayed at Bill's condo. It was perfect. The 3 bedrooms are large and spacious. The unit is on the first floor next to the pool and we had a few pleasant nights just relaxing on the porch with a few Presidente Beers. The condo is not directly on the beach, but pretty close - the beach is about a 2 minute walk away. A bank and a large market are conveniently located next door. There is an office at the complex and a swiss lady (Tanja) that runs the show and speaks about 6 languages. We were able to pay her and she gave us the keys. She also showed us how to use the fingerprint keypad entry through the main entry ala James Bond! Very safe! This town was a blast. Small enough, but with plenty to do (we went cascading in the mountain jungles). If you are traveling with friends or family, I would definitely recommend this place. It is new, convenient and much better than a hotel. Nathan

The listing description was accurate and the place was immaculate. Clean and neat and the owner Bill was extremely helpful in addressing my concerns. I would recommend this place to anyone ready for a good time and enjoy their stay!

I stayed at this condo at Royal Residences in February 2010. The condo is well appointed and clean. I enjoyed the fact that it was only a two minute walk to the beach. The condo complex is safe - after 5 or 6 at night the main door is locked and there is a security guard posted. I think the condo was a good value, and I loved my time in Cabarete!

I've stayed in this complex three times now... and every time was nice, clean, quiet. The best part is that it is walking distance from all the beach, bars, and center of town in Cabarete. Can't beat it.

Close to the beach! Quite... Relaxing That is how my trip to Cabarete was. What a hidden gem. I almost don't want to leave a review and let others now how good it was! If you are looking for a change of pace and a new place to vacay, give it a shot. The Condo was great and had everything we need. Pool was perfect. Thanks!
