This unit is only steps away from the Moonlight Lodge and is a fabulous ski-in/ski-out property which allows you to put your skis on at your door and ski Big Sky or Moonlight Basin or both. This breathtaking townhome has a slate entryway and tiled countertops and floors in all of the bathrooms and kitchen. This property offers breathtaking vistas of Lone Peak, the ski slopes and the Big Sky Valley. The home is four levels with an additional living/sleeping area in the basement, which provides a comfortable amount of space for everyone. The master bedroom has a queen bed and private bath. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and walks out to the private outdoor hot tub and breathtaking views. Bedroom 3 has a twin over queen bunk bed. The bonus room has a twin day bed with a twin trundle bed under it.
Take in the views while you enjoy a nice glass of wine or cold beverage of your choice in the private 6 person hot tub on your deck or walk to the Moonlight Lodge and Spa, which is only a few steps away for an afternoon appetizer or fabulous dinner. The Lodge contains a fine dining restaurant, a deli, a great apres ski bar, wireless internet, a clothing/ski shop, an indoor/outdoor heated pool and hot tub, a workout facility, and full service spa.
Big Sky and Moonlight Basin combined their ski terrain to form the largest skiable terrain in North America, with more than 5800 acres of skiing. If you have never been to Big Sky, but you love to ski, now is your chance to take a trip like never before. Lift lines are non-existent and it is not unusual to ski 3 miles without seeing another person. The runs are wide and magical or if you prefer extreme skiing, Big Sky and Moonlight Basin offer some of the steepest of the steeps along with lots of champagne powder.
Summer is the icing on the cake. Yellowstone National Park is ONLY 45 minutes away. The drive to West Yellowstone is amazing. Also,just outside your door you can spot deer, moose, elk, and lots of other wildlife. The Gallatin River, featured in the movie 'A River Runs Through It', runs through Big Sky and offers some of the best blue-ribbon fishing in North America. As you walk around, whether winter or summer you will not believe how truly breathtaking every moment will be.

This was an AWESOME way to have a mini family reunion!! The condo is very nice, clean, etc. But the best part is that is is so spacious. We had 5 adults (who get along to varying degrees) but because it is four levels, everyone was able to have their own space. The kitchen was well supplied with any utensils you might need (and cooking our own meals made the VERY expensive Big Sky/Moonlight area much more affordable). It it literally steps away from the lodge, which made the mornings SO EASY. Plus, we could take a mid-day break, eat, rest, and then catch the aftenoon slopes. Working with Acra was easy and straightforward. Everything went better than expected. The entire family (youngest 5 years, oldest 67 years) loved it and we are already planning to return next year!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

I and 6 friends recently stayed 3 nights at this property. The place was plenty spacious for us. It was in gorgeous condition, and the proximity to the lodge and a lift cannot be beaten. We were very pleased with our decision on visiting Big Sky/Moonlight Basin and staying at this property. I suggest you do the same.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

We had a fantastic time!! The location is wonderful with access to Big Sky and Moonlight Basin Ski Resorts. The bonus room worked great for us, the kids had their own place to watch movies and hang out. The location to Moonlight Lodge was fantastic and made it easy to use the family pass for the pool and spa area. The pictures you see are accurate no unpleasant surprises, the condo was very clean and extremely well stocked!! We would highly recommend this property, if we return to Big Sky we would totally stay here again. The owner was very helpful with phone calls and emails leading up to our visit. There was also a wonderful welcome basket for us that everyone enjoyed.....Thank you for that!!!!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers.

We enjoyed the unit during Spring Break 2010. This was our second year to rent through Acra and Chris at Moonlight Basin. They do a great job making sure everything is ready for your stay and following up on any details during your stay. They are the best. The condo is just a hundred feet or so to a small hill that takes you down to the Iron Horse lift. It's just another hundred feet to the Moonlight Lodge where you can buy lift tickets to either Moonlight or Big Sky or enjoy a drink after skiing or a nice dinner at the Timbers. The condo was perfect for our needs (6 people) and Acra and Chris were great to deal with. We are already planning our 2011 trip. Cheers!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children.

We just returned to Houston from Moonlight this evening and the entire family was saddened to leave such a gorgeous environment. Acra and Chris have a wonderful condo, filled with little touches such as a "Welcome Basket" on the bar when you arrive, a note welcoming you to Moonlight, extra supplies throughout the condo including laundry soap and dryer sheets! Acra kept in touch with us prior to our arrival, was able to purchase discount ski tickets for us prior to our arrival, confirmed a local grocery store that could deliver groceries for us on the day of our arrival and was available for anything we needed during our stay. Wonderful hosts - met them on our last day - and will definitely return to Moonlight next year for Spring Break! Gorgeous views, awesome snow and fantastic skiing!Did you find this review helpful?
