  Really enjoyed the condo and the location was great! With the beach right accross the street, it was perfect. The condo was very well designed, nicely furnished and very clean. Well equiped kitchen. The whole property very well maintained. The owner quickly replied to my emails.The sugar white sand beaches and the "fun stuff " to do in Destin area means a return trip!

  Everything we needed, great week. Unit and complex are well-maintained. Casual diner Kenny's is a short walk away.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I had a nice stay here. The property is as listed. It was clean and the owner was very responsive. I would recommend this property. It is close to the beach and the pool.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I was disappointed with Maravilla and their staff. Owners should give more information on what CANT be done there. i.e.: No canopy's , tents, or tarps on "their" beach. If you need more than 2 chairs and 1 umbrella it will cost you $ 32.50 PER DAY, for a set of 2 chairs and 1 umbrella. If you take beach chairs to the beach you are REQUIRED to put them IN the condo sand/ water and all, or face a $100.00 fine. The Office staff was no help at all. Their reply was " the board sets the rules". Perhaps the owners should be more involved in the " rule making process". I do not recommend this complex for families. If it is just 2 people it MIGHT be OK. I will not go back to Maravilla, nor will I suggest any of my friends stay there. Also, when we arrived Saturday evening the toilet was not working in the master bath and when I called maintenance they said there wasn't anyone that could come fix it until sometime "next week" I told them that I was going to call the owner and complain to them, and by the time I found owners phone number I received a phone call and I was told someone would be there in 15 minuets. Dishes were not put away when we arrived their was a lot of sand and dirt on the floor. I think housekeeping did a terrible job cleaning the condo. The beach, and water were GREAT, even though we had to use the beach next to Maravilla. The beach chair company was operated by a couple of punk kids that were very disrespectful, and outright rude. When I ask for a business card I was told "I don't have one with me." When I went to the office "she" told me that that was "strange" she has NEVER had any complaints about them.

  Owner response: I am sorry that your stay at Maravilla was disappointing. We have been managing our condo since we bought it in 2007 and we have never received any question from our guests regarding canopies and tents. The restriction imposed by the Walton County on the use of canopies and tents is for the benefit and safety of the people at the beach. The beach service is provided by an independent contractor and we pay them per season for 2 chairs and one umbrella. Not all units in Maravilla provide this convenience. We do not know how much they charge per daily use and therefore we cannot mention this on our guest info. There are extra chairs and umbrella in the unit if needed and these can be washed in any of the three faucets near the front pool before taking it inside the condo. The Maravilla homeowners association requires that no item is left in the hallway to keep the safety and tidiness of the condo. With regards to emergency repairs, we have a handyman that we can call immediately and the problem is usually fixed within a very reasonable timeframe. In this situation, the problem was fixed within an hour after we were informed by our client. We provide our three contact phone numbers in case this situation arises. Our condo is well maintained and kept clean throughout the year. With regards to the housekeeping issue, this is the first time that we received this complaint and we have informed our housekeeper about this. Her company provides cleaning services to different units in the complex and is well regarded by many. Maravilla remains the favorite destination in Destin by many families including us. We first rented a condo in Maravilla in 2006. When we returned in 2007, we had the opportunity to buy one and we never regretted our decision to make Maravilla our second home

  I surprised my wife for her 40th birthday by booking this condo for the week of the 4th of July. It had everything we needed and was steps away from the beach and pool. The grounds and condo were well kept and other entertainment was just minutes away. I would stay here again and plan to make this a yearly event.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.

  We love the Condo! It have everything we needed.The location was great to the beach and to the pool, and it was nice being a little bit outside Destin. TYhanks for opening your home to us
