Wonderful accommodations that make our ski trip fantastic. Home is as described and even better. Kitchen fully stocked, great master bathroom, large hot tub, and the boot and warming closet was an unexpected hit with everyone. Our wet gloves and gear dried out overnight. Enjoyed the artwork on the walls. The information you sent before our arrival was very useful.

Listing description is accurate. Listing photos accurately reflect appearance and amenities. In fact, they are even better than the photos show. Clean, well-maintained, & the owner is VERY helpful not only in answering questions or concerns but also with doing all sorts of little things to make your stay enjoyable. I would recommend this property to a friend or a relative who rents a car or drives his own to this rental. It is about a 15 minute drive to Snowbird or Alta, a 20 minute drive to Solitude or Brighton and a 45 minute drive to the Park City area resorts. That's seven awesome ski resorts to choose from! If you want to get adventurous there a few more about an hour away. One thing I really like about the place is that feels recently remodeled. The hot tub is in perfect condition. There are three flat screen TVs throughout the place. The fireplaces are great. And, importantly, towels, linens, dishes, glassware etc. are all of a high grade, much better than the normal rental. It is clear why. This is the owner's home and he takes pride in it. And he really wants you to enjoy your visit as a guest in his home. Refreshing.

The Rock House was amazing - we stayed as a group of 6 for a week and found it to be incredibly roomy, very clean, and in a great location overall. The layout of the house is excellent, we found no issues with noise or road traffic. The patio rocked, the hot tub rocked, and the grill was yet another bonus. Once again, everything was very clean, very professionally put together but still had a warm welcoming home feel to it. I would highly recommend staying at this location if you're ski/snowboarding in utah. The owner was very good at keeping in touch and helpful in answering any questions we may have had. Everyone on our trip had a blast, and one of the major reasons why is because of this home and location.

Spectacular Get-A-Way

This truly is a beautiful, cozy home that is the perfect location in Salt Lake. We spent our summer there and were minutes away from the most spectacular canyons you can imagine. Whether biking, hiking or skiing, you cannot find a better location. The owners have gone out of their way to make it a wonderful experience with comfortable beds and great amenities. The listing photos accurately show the townhome, but there is nothing like being there in person. A great experience!

Very nice home away from home

A group of 6 of us stayed at the 'Rock House' for a month of skiing. The owner was easy to reach, very accommodating, and prompt to get back to us. The condo manager on site was also very helpful. Both provided great advice for a fabulous holiday. The house was clean and very nicely decorated - obviously not just a rental home. It had lots of nice features - is accurately described on their site. (heated boot closet, lots of room, nice living room and a family room too, two master bedrooms, hot tub, very nice washer and dryer, a very well stocked kitchen, and access to a double garage). We cooked all dinners at home - easy to do at this house. The location is great for going to a number of different world class ski resorts - as well Salt Lake City (and SLC Airport). Having a car is an asset. The owner provided a nice binder with 'need to know' info, along with suggestions for restaurants etc. We were usually too tired to go anywhere, but appreciated the thoughtfulness! I have recommended this house to friends and will consider going there again.

We planned our trip late and was glad the Rock House was still available. It seemed even nicer than we had remembered. The boot warming closet was great to dry out our gear overnight. The hot tub and the spa tub in the master bedroom got a lot of use after some long days on the slopes. Your property manager Ritch greeted us on our arrival to give us our discounted lift tickets and was very helpful. We cooked in most of the time and the kitchen was fully equipped to meet all our needs. The times we did eat out your recommendations were great. The Porcupine Grill became one of our favorite places. Jim, thanks for all the information you provided us prior to our arrival. It really helped us plan our stay. It's nice to see owners who care about their property and make it feel like home.

Excellent accommodations near Alta/Snowbird-- This is the Place

We just returned from 5 nights in the Rock House, and were completely comfortable during our stay. We are a family of 7, and the kids each had their own bed. This spacious condo would work well for a family or couples. The condo has been recently renovated (love the master bath), and is well-equipped, well-maintained, and clean. The kitchen has the equipment to cook gourmet meals if you are so inclined. The heated boot closet kept our gear organized and toasty, and our skis and vehicle were safe in the secure garage. Discreet labels telling us how to operate equipment, and a binder from the owners, helped us to feel welcome. When we did have a question, the management was responsive. We have stayed at many condos in Sandy and Cottonwood Heights. Many claim to be "luxury" condos, but are shabby and poorly equipped. The Rock House is our favorite in Sandy-- it rocks. And to top it all off, it is very close to Little Cottonwood Canyon-- in our opinion the best skiing in North America.

Thank you for the use of your home. We had an awesome ski trip. It seems that no matter how much time you put in at the gym, you’re never in quite the shape you need to be to ski 3 days in a row. Conditions allowed us to ski from open to close pretty much constantly. Your home is beautiful but more importantly, very comfortable and well prepared for our stay. Everything that we needed was right there. From filters and sweeteners for our coffee, to the remote control for the garage door, it was like you had done this before. The spa was perfect after the day skiing. We own our own spa and I used yours more last weekend than I have used ours since June.

This was our second trip to the Rock House. The location is phenomenal and the house is fantastic. Nice amenities (heated boot closet, hot tub, two living areas, master suite) and a cut above most rental properties.

The condo was a great place to stay in Utah. It is clean, roomy, and very well appointed. Ritch the property manager was very helpful and kind. We would definitely stay here again in the future. The only problem is that we did not get any powder the week we were there... I will have to talk to Jim the owner about that problem...hahaha... Great place if you don't want to stay on the mountain... Perry

Really enjoyed our stay! Your recommendations for restaurants and shopping were great. We especially enjoyed the master bathroom, and also the heated boot closet. Jim, You have a beautiful and very comfortable home! We cooked every night in your well equipt kitchen. It was great that everyone had their own bathroom and plenty of space to spread out. Your hot tub was a great way to end the day on a cool summers night. Thanks for having a pack- n-play and a highchair available. We look forward to staying again.

We had a great time here. The house was very nice and clean. We had more than enough room for the 8 of us. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking at the condo. The location was convenient to Snowbird and the restaurants/markets. Jim was very helpful and made great suggestions. We would definitely stay here again.

Loved the house. It was in a great location close to going up the canyon, yet close enough to stores and resturants. Loved the heated boot closet for drying after a long snowy day of snowboarding or skiing. The house is well equiped with everything you need. Lots of room for families where the kids and adults can have their own space. We would definitely come back to stay on another vacation.

I recently stayed at this property in Canyon Place (Cottonwood Heights, Utah). The location was great! It was 15 minutes from Snowbird and Alta and about 30-40 minutes from Park City. The condo amenities were top shelf. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook great meals. There was plenty of space for sleeping and multiple bathrooms. It was very clean, with high end fixtures in the bathrooms and bedrooms. The hot tub made for a perfect end to a long day of skiing. I would highly recommend staying at this property!

We had a great ski trip. Location is right at the base of Little Cottonwood. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to cook. Master suite and bath is very nice. Hot tub was nice but it is located under the deck. We had 8 adult men and were comfortable.

We absolutely loved the condo and the location. The Condo is beautifully decorated and furnished. Lots of nice ameneities - flat screen tvs, DVD players, hot tub, boot warming closet. The location is perfect. It's 20 minutes door to door to Alta and Snowbird and 35 minutes to Brighton and Solitude. It's also close to I215 which can take you to Park City in 40 minutes and the airport. We would definately come again.

Fantastic place! The location is so convenient to Big and Little Cottonwood resorts. The condo is much nicer than the average rental and well equipped with hot tub, fireplaces, and LCD tv's. I plan to stay there again!
