  This property was sufficient for our visit....though somewhat small and showed it's age, it suited our needs. I would stay again. Sarah, the manager of the property was very nice and helpful with everything. Thanks Sarah. No need for a car if you are visiting Waikiki....easy walking to everything, shopping, restaurants, bars, beaches, etc.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+.

  This was the first time we used VRBO and we were very happy with the hotel. Description and photos of the unti were quite accurate.While the majority of the hotel staff were helpful and friendly, there was one woman at the desk whose attitude was that we were guests of a private owner, not of the hotel; this did make us a bit uncomfortable. We were told by another employee that we were more than welcome to use the lobby for WiFi connections. Pool area is beautiful.The owner of the unit was great....answering any questions we had and even dropping off our damage deposit before we left. Loved being so close to the beach, many of the restaurants and on a bus route . We definitely would recommend this property

  My husband and I wanted to send our 22 & 24 year old daughters to Hawaii, since one of them is looking at the University of Hawaii for graduate school. We do most of our vacations through VRBO, so we began our search. We ended up working with Guy and his property manager, both of whom were great to work with and did fantastic follow-up with me through the process. Our girls loved the clean-tastefully decorated apartment with it's great view and very close proximity to the beach. The girls felt like they were in the middle of all the fun and near to everything they wanted. THEY LOVED IT!! Thank you for helping to make our daughters stay safe and fun.

  Comfortable studio condo short walking distance to beach, restaurants, shopping, bus service. Photos shown reflect unit, lobby and pool area. Very helpful and courteous hotel front desk staff even tho we were not hotel guests, but private condo guests. Lovely pool, very small spa, nice back area with amenities; beautiful relaxing lobby; appreciated safety factor of having hotel staff available to open locked entrance door after 10 p.m. No wi fi in condo unit, and phone did not have instructions or state it was not connected to front desk of hotel. TV was fairly new and no instructions; but we didn't watch TV, were gone mostly all day. B/R Shower was funky, ok when running tap water, but for showerhead water, stayed very hot and could not regulate(minor and fixable) Requested more towels, tissue and paper towels and waited until next day for them. Handy laundry facilities on same floor, no change machine though. There is also no parking; but public transportation in the area is great and close walking distance to so many places. The unit was cleaned just before we arrived and the strong odor of disinfectant and cleaner was pervasive for quite a while, carpet damp in spots. Air conditioner worked well as it was a very hot and humid week. I would consider staying at the condo again; it is comfortable for 2 people and in excellent location and reasonably priced.

  This place is very nice - tidy, has everything you need, well-located. The property manager was incredibly responsive, quick, helpful. There was laundry on the floor. There is no wireless in the apartment, but the property manager had a very good solution. It is a private apartment in a hotel, so some things were for hotel guests only, which was a bit of a pain - it would be nice if we could make use of some of the hotel amenities (including the wireless in the lobby). I would definitely stay here again.

  It is a great location, walk to the beach 2 min, to the zoo- aquarium 10 min. MarketPlace 5 min. My family and I took this place and never regret it. The communication with the owner was perfect, left a message and called me back in 5 min! Honestly for the money, you cannot go wrong with this place. You have a BBq by the pool with tables so you can eat while the kid are enjoying the Pool, you have all the kitchen ware needed in your room, toaster, microwave, 2 little fridge + 2 burners. But honestly we did all our supper beside the pool on the bbq who has a side burner. And we borrowed beach equipement for our time on thebeach. Only one thing: The wifi work great around the pool and the lobby but no wifi in room, only wired network internet. Great Place will recommend to friends and family.

  We stayed at the Aqua Bamboo & Spa Nov 2011. The pictures accurately reflect the rental's appearance & amenities. It is a clean & cozy condo with everything that we needed - toaster, dishes, lots of towels. It is a good size & the lanai has wooden chairs that are so comfortable. Both the owner & property manager were quick to answer every question before we came to Waikiki & after we got there. A very relaxing experience. We will definitely be renting this condo again & will recommend it to family & friends.

  We stayed at the Aqua Bamboo Rm 405 in November of 2007 and enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and comfortable and was good value for our money. The hotel staff are friendly, the pool area is really nice and clean. Location of the hotel is great, you are less than five minute walk to the beach and to all of the great restaurants and shopping.
