We are very excited to announce that our treasured resort has completed extensive renovations over the last year. The most impressive of which, is our pool and beach area. These areas have been completely reconstructed, including a contemporary pool with infinity edge, new beach bar, new lounging furniture and new beach palapas. From your penthouse, you will enjoy gazing down from the 6th floor, at these amenities displayed directly below you.
Ixtapa has many tempting restaurants, but occasionally, you may choose to prepare a favorite meal, in your well-appointed kitchen or on your balcony BBQ. Dine at your leisure, on your private oceanfront balcony or, in your air conditioned dining room. Then, relax with a good book or movie from our personal library. If feeling ambitious, you could take in the entertainment (theme dinners or Mexican fiestas)provided by our Tesoro Resort.
In Ixtapa, you can do as much or as little as you wish. Gaze at the breath-taking sunsets and vistas of Playa Del Palmar Beach, from your two, spacious private balconies. Lounge at your oceanfront pool or under a private beach palapa. A cool beverage or tasty lunch is just a request away. Perhaps you would enjoy a walk on the beach. Your destination is an oceanfront massage. It will be a well deserved treat after an invigorating 18 holes of golf, on one of Ixtapa's two world class courses or shopping for baubles at one of our Artisan markets. Then, it's back to your condo, for a traditional afternoon siesta. The Pacific Ocean breeze and soothing sound of the waves will quickly lull you to sleep. Why the Owner Chose Ixtapa
We searched for many years until we finally found this little 'piece of paradise'. When the front door opened, we were awed by stunning ocean views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, in every room. The entire space was bathed in sunlight! This penthouse was lovingly custom built by a couple from Chicago. They went waaay over budget with imported ceramic tiles for the bathrooms and kitchen, marble floors and counters, Spanish inspired arched doorways and a custom river stone kitchen bar that was hand designed, pebble by pebble. Then, we made it our own, with more upgrades, such as sliding glass doors and new windows. We are proud to say this penthouse is the most prestegious spot on the Tesoro property.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Another point that sold us on this condo is the location. It is exactly in the middle of Ixtapa's premiere beach. One of our biggest daily decisions is whether to walk down the beach to the left (to watch the crocodile feedings at the Pacifica), to the right (to go for a massage or to the marina) or BOTH! While we have the tranquility of the ocean in front of us, we also have Ixtapa's retail area (shopping, restaurants, entertainment) directly behind us. There is no need for a car when staying with us.

City center includes: retail shopping, banks, restaurants, movie theatre, mini golf, wide range of entertainment.
Open air market featuring local art, jewelry, woven rugs and wide variety of other souvenirs. Great place to use your bargaining skills.

The first time my family and I visited Ixtapa to escape our Canadian winter, we were hooked! We were immediately comfortable there because it is so clean, boasts lush tropical landscaping everywhere and has that 'small town' feel. Also, the fishing village of Zihua has maintained the integrity of old Mexico and was only minutes away. My husband grew up in Italy and the mountains and architecture reminded him of his childhood. We've met so many special people over the years, both locals and visitors from around the world. In the picture, that's me (Sandra) in the middle. I'm with my dear friend, Deborah (left)(owner of Ixtapa restaurants Mama Norma's & ChiliBeans) and our little surfer girl from Florida, Dana.
